I wonder why Bruno skipped the walk cycle on this character so often in this short? Very weird to see the mosquito suddenly teleport while walking from point a to point b. Very jarring imo
it's a caricature of real life. They move so fast, that you only see when they arrive and when they leave, a genius way to do it in my opinion, plus, you save some buck in animation :P
@@chaggy86 I suppose. As someone who also makes cartoons it just looks bad to me. I did like the cartoon overall tho.

As a kid I loved to watch "Quark" and "Superquark" for the animated shorts too. Is it possible to watch them again? Like a playlist. They were great to explain complex topics in a clear, effective way. I would love to watch them again with my nephews!
Siskel and Ebert brought me here. On the Siskel and Ebert RUclips channel, there was an episode of their Opening Soon show (the precursor to Sneak Previews) where, in one part of it, they were talking about this very short and about how it won a Golden Hugo at the 1975 Chicago Film Festival.
