Great review as always , these cars are gems. So understated Power, refinement, reliability all in one Thanks lexus for making GS but unfortunately here in uk we can’t have them anymore.
still got it, no issues at all. hybrid batteries are orginal, tested every year and passed. rear wheel steering is helpful. mark levinson sounds great. 450H averages 7.2l/100km needs motoroil change every 15tkm rear differential oil change every 30tkm. sparkplugs every 60tkm only downside is that you can't fold backseats, boohoo..
Test drove one today ,having got out of a 3.0 audi a5 ,the lexus was luxurious, quiet and very comfortable,It was also however suprisingly slow and unresponsive. Overtaking would need to be planned ,If you value driving dynamics over absolute comfort, then stick with the Germans
Don’t ever touch anything with 250 after the letters, direct injected 2.5 L v6 is not worth the hassle, 3.5 litre engine has direct AND port injection so no issues with carbon
Incorrect, UK spec 4GR-FSE engine. ie, 250 engine, has both port AND direct injection... Only US spec 250 got direct injection which coupled with low octane fuel causes some carbon build up related issues.... Inaccurate comments only have the possibility of putting people off one of Lexus/Toyota best engines especially post 2009 with timing chain..
Let me enlighten you, this is a rebadged Toyota, fitted with gadgets, very overpriced and very over rated. It come with all the traditional Toyota problems like the unreliable CVT, brakes problems, suspension problems etc. for the price tag you can purchase a real car not an overprice imitation.
An excellent and informative video, only let down by the incredibly annoying banner message that lasted the whole 28 mins!

@@TimoRuskearaitathe sound system is incredible love it.
I have owned this car for two years now and love it have the f sport version as well. German cars reliability sucks compared to this.

Hmmm 🤔 if I want to drive lively I put into sport mode and it moves fast (f sport version)
My 450h isn't slow. 😁 maybe a 250?
