I agree a lot The core values of the Undertale fandom has been largely grayed out and over shadowed The whole thing about the entire game and all the other AUs alive was being determined in a way And yet that was so largely overshadowed by negativity so bad It’s honestly a bit insane with how much drama has happened, and it’s sad Drama is tiring and so mentally and physically draining I have a burning hatred for the people who enjoy inflicting such pain on others. And with Jakei she’s like a valiant soldier, but her determination fizzled out because of lunatics And then with the people pointing out crap from other people without seeing their own crap first is hypocritical to the max. I’m pretty sure there’s a saying “Why do you point out the speck in other people’s eyes, when you don’t see the log in your own?” I’ve seen many fandoms around get so much crap lately I honestly just feel sad seeing so many of my favorite things do down the drain People left and right being called out, so now people are wanting attention and claiming false things. For myself Undertale was a really big part of my life too. Especially underverse I was introduced to underverse before Undertale and already fell in love with all of it. The animation, the art, the characters- It meant a lot to me. Underverse was a big reason I wanted to animate I always strived to be as amazing and Jakei Seeing her pull the plug threw a wrench at my heart. Creators rise and fall I guess. . But that was the worst way to fall.
I honestly agree with you on everything that you’ve said. And I’m glad that you have stayed strong despite everything. If you do end up leaving I think we can all understand why. I hope if you do go or stay, you continue to stay determined no matter what you do!

It has been inspiring and gave me some chuckles watching your content :) i don’t think i could ever leave this fandom, no matter how bad it gets and that scares me. being judged for being in this fandom because it was considered cringe and now it will be judged in other horrible ways now probably. Undertale and the fandom has helped me in so many ways though and feels like it’s my life’s fixation
it’s really sad to hear all this stuff, i haven’t been hearing about the community much i thought we were all still vibing (only social media i really go on is youtube) then i see jake i’d post a couple of days ago and she quitting and it just feels like a splash of cold water. i started engaging again, reading fanfics and this video too all talking about it and it’s like WHAT THE HEY DID I MISS?! i thought our loving community was immune to this WHAT HAPPENED?! I think in these desperate times, it’s important to remember that other people aren’t pleased too, and that the community still exists, even if the haters are shining brighter than us right now, we are still glowing and here ❤
Unfortunately no community is immune to hate and toxicity no matter how good it may seem. People will be people and just as they are very capable of being good people they are just as capable of being destructive. I still want to remain a positive force in this community for as long as I am able to, and even once the time comes that the fire is no longer there undertale will still be dear to my heart because it was a big part of a nearly a decade of my life and it helped me get through a lot of difficult pivotal moments in my real life.
@foxfellsansthetrashydork611 I watched hopeless peaches' video when it was at its peak with the drama and right off the bat you could tell that video was meant to incite an emotional response rather than to state facts. The way she presented the screenshot and evidence was really terrible too.
By the way it I've seen your gaster blaster sans transformation videos I just wanted to ask how that works I've seen a bit of a culture around the au of that but I still don't know it are they like werewolf dragons? 🤔😍💚🐉
