The BMW and the LFA V10 sound the best to me. The BMW more so because it is more accessible and BMW had the nuts to put it in a large volume produced family sedan. It sounds so terrifyingly beautiful. It was based off of their F1 engine for fucksake. It sounds like what F1 used to be...and they put it in a f-ckin family sedan. This is one of the many reasons why I am a BMW enthusiast. The magnificence and history of the engines they have put in accessible cars.
the engine is cool but rid with problems, the v10 m5 is a terrible car to own, you can find them very cheap, but will make you sell bodyparts for car parts. that car was a piece of junk in terms of reliability.
@@dumyjobby There were more BMW V10s produced than all other V10s in this video and majority of which done at least 3 times the mileage...it's s high revving F1 derived V10 what do you expect? Can't afford to maintain a beast like that and want reliability? Grab a Toyota.
The LFA has the most amazing sounding V10 of them all (street cars anyway). I know it's not the most powerful or fastest, but damn does it sound like a slice of heaven.
Im a Mercedes Benz enthusiast and I have to admit I've heard the Bmw's V10 in person and its like music to anyones ears absolutely amazing, good job to Bmw on this exhaust note.
Anyone who says flat plane V10s aren’t the best sounding engines are either Ferrari V12 fanboys or muscle car geeks who have never heard more than 8 cylinders (though the Voodoo, LT6 and 427 SOHC do sound incredible).
Wiesmann Roadster. It's a german manufacturer which uses BMW technology, such the engines. The Wiesmann is produced by hand and in small units. very special car :)
Cause the LFA is rare and expensive (prob reliable ofc) while the M5 is affordable (the fact it's a family sedan) but parts will wear out more easily, but both of em have unique sound.
I want these sounds to exist forever as a benchmark of what a car and an engine should sound like. I listened to that and made faces only my girlfriend has seen! Absolutely magnificent.
First of all, nothing beats the F1 v10, jeez, it will for sure blow your ears if it pass you on close hold. but i will say that the LFA got the best v10 sound of street cars due the special Yamaha exhaust system, epic made!
bmw v10 !! omg thank you for making dat part the longest i love bmw v10 it is amazing i am hoping to get enough money for an e60 m5 but that wont be anytime soon :C

AMV12S you are right but you know people don't buy a BMW, Mercedes, Audi, bugatti etc because they're reliable because they aren't. Point blank but the way these cars drive, the handling, the feel of steering, the sound, the looks, the badge, the whole experience is why people buy these cars. People buy Cheve, Ford, Honda, Toyota because they're cheap and reliable. These cars like Ferrari aren't ment to be driven every day or last forever. If so they would be in major production like a Corvette or Viper.

Yes, it is
That's subjective, Lfa being the best is your opinion/preference. I prefer a car sounding more Brutal and not one that purrs instead of roaring
my fav is the e60 m5 ;D
Carrera GT begs to differ.

Come on now, we all know that F1 doesn't count!! It isn't a production car motor. So that makes my vote the LFA.

ferrari and their lovable 1.1 litre V-48...800 hp and 12 ft lbs of torque!
Why not? It's lower angle, better balanced and revs much more than typical american 7 litre while making similar power, it's also more efficient.
