I am surprised that as an introvert, you don’t like it getting dark earlier. I am an introvert and love it! A reason to get cozy and “nest”. So many introverts I know consider autumn their favorite season for that reason..and other reasons, too. Introverts like to be home and long summer days almost can make you feel guilty…like you should be out doing stuff. Getting dark earlier gives us license to cozy up and engage in cozy home activities. 😌
I actually love that it gets dark earlier but for some reason I always hate the end of the day… like no matter what season 😂 I think it’s more of a guilt think like I didn’t do enough that day or something
I usually get sad on weekends around 3pm, but week day nah. That’s time to go home or get errands done. I also like faux wood blinds. The wide ones. I hate the plastic or metal blinds. They’re so cheap looking. The wood blinds just give a better look of a home. But i also put a sheer curtain on top of my blinds, and then black out curtains to make it homey and darker when needed.
I relate so much to what you said about getting depressed around 3 pm haha. It’s the worst, I get so tired all of a sudden and don’t know what to do with the rest of my day haha
For blinds, I went for the Ikea PRAKTLYSING cellular blinds, which are wirelessly operated and can be linked to any smart home too! They are such a life changer and I would highly recommend them!
As usual, I click play so fast when you upload new content! Missed ya! I don’t get sad at the end of the day, but I do get sad around noon on Sundays, I guess I get anxious for the week ahead 😅😵💫
So glad you're back and feeling better! 🩷 I'm planning on getting plantation shutters for my windows. Similar to blinds, but much more stylish (also probs a lot more expensive though!)
My cat Mr. Grey also likes to be in things. Closets, boxes, grocery bags. Just everywhere, causing chaos. I hate the time from about 1 pm - 5 pm. I do get that feeling of omg, it’s so late, the morning is already over. Like, what have I accomplished? And then I start to beat myself up about all the things that I didn’t get done 😢 But once 5 PM hits, it’s ok because then I can start dinner and I have an excuse to not do anything because it’s basically getting nighttime lol.
I totally understand the whole regret after getting rid of so much stuff and junk. After my mom passed away I went through an "IDGAF" stage and just trashed or gave away so much crap and then once I came out of my grief I suddenly regretted everything and still do after 6 years. I'm aware it's just STUFF and I don't any of it on order to remember my mom but on the other hand I wish I had just hidden it all in the attic until I was mentally ready to deal with it. And if I were you, I'd be asking for a "cleaning fee" from my sister...LOL. Actually in my case it would be my brother...lol. OMG...I seriously bet you're happy to have the other closet for your clothes etc...I would be and I literally have three closets full of crap! I love the idea of DIY for easy things but I would love to be able to just pay someone when it comes to more difficult or just stuff I absolutely hate doing. But I'm so happy for you that you now truly have the house to yourself...that is an awesome feeling at least for me.
I am so intrigued to no how a cat pees on blinds that seems quite impressive on the cats part 😂
The putter patter of Willo’s paws when she is following you around is adorable!

Earlier sunsets are sad because it makes it feel like the day is over so much earlier now. So neat that you have the place to yourself.

Charlie was so adorable hanging out in the closet 😊
My corgi is terrified of traffic too, and I love the Gilmore Girls alarm clock!
It’s so frustrating! And sad 😭 it makes it really hard to take her anywhere
The colour of the sweater you're wearing around the 35 min mark looks AMAZING on you!
Oh thank you!

I’m going to check those out! Thank you!
Love your videos! You got this - cleaning/organizing is the worst. I'll take a Willo the Corgi sticker 😊
Bamboo blinds are super nice and add a lot of warmth!!
Yes those are cute!

I didn’t realise you lived with your sister. I thought you lived alone all this time😊
I think you are the DIY chick!
I don’t really get your obsession with these showerheads haha, on camera they look very plastic
They’re amazing!
That thumbnail is hilarious 😂
Hahaha thanks for the thumbnail appreciation 😂
