I worked the Lake Mead Marina in 1980 -1982 as a cook ...it was next to boulder beach where I stayed in a van with my girlfriend ...in 1992 bought a 30' Searay and slipped it next to the restaurant ...the lake was full then ...both times Good job on the video

What a great video!! Not only great updates and comparisons but awesome video editing! 🙏🏻 The hurricane stays on the predicted path and misses LV. The only positive of it shifting towards Vegas would be the additional water in the lake. When this hurricane hits all the wildfire smoke from California, Washington Canada it will increase the rain production . To bad it can't just stall over the lake for a bit minus the damaging winds of course.

Hello from Minnesota my son lives in Vegas I was worried about the hurricane Hillary impact it would have on Vegas so far it appears to be positive its a joy seeing lake mead water level rise. Next time I visit Vegas Im gonna be eating a Lake Mead burger for sure that looked delicious. Thanks for the update.

It's unfortunate that so little of the water from tropical storm Hilary will go into Lake Mead. It's on the the wrong side of the mountains. But every little bit helps. I'm hoping that the big El Nino that we're supposed to have for the next two years will give us two more wet winters and keep the level rising.
I live in Florida. I have been thru a couple hurricanes. Not fun at all. I NEVER want you guys to go thru what I've been thru.. Stay safe Marc! 🙏
The tropical storms in Florida sink fast ~ however here in Nevada they are only getting their normal monsoon water, the tropical rain hasn’t reached them yet. It’s making it’s way thru California and eventually they will see rain and more rain none stop that’ll make huge run offs . These people have never seen one so they think it’s over ( you and me know it’s the calm before it hits) he probably never been in one tropical storm that’s why he’s out chirping not knowing it hasn’t got there yet…..
It was literally less than a daily fl rain
