I love to hear how the words may have sounded in the ancient language. So beautiful sounding. I think that is super important because it gives life to the language. I love how the lecturer actually goes through the words to help us pronounce them especially words with non-western sounds.
I'm so glad and very happy to leaen ancient egyptian with such a nice and intelligent teacher. I always wanted to hear prenonciatian of real egyptian language. And Muhamed really helped it!!!Thank you Muhamed!!!
I have been studying this kind of language for a long time but I have to tell you that you are a great teacher and your explanations are very exhaustive/comprehensive. It is very interesting the pronunciation of the words
I love the way you started this lecture. I only had a chance to do the first part of exercise #1 and I had a question at the first part of of #2. so thank you
As a Kemeticist (a practitioner of the revival of ancient Egyptian religion), this will surely help me out a lot. I not only wish to extend my prayers to ttthe almighty Neteru in English, but perhaps I can speak to them in the beautiful Kemetic language. Gloory be to Osiris, Isis, and Heru-Pa-Khered (Horus the child). Amun Ra, burning brightly forever more in the heart of mankind.
Can we stay in contact? Im trying to learn this language but it's a little dificult. & I'm trying by myself so I don't know what I'm saying correct or incorrectly
Thank you Mohamed Ibrahim. I am enjoying your lectures very much and I especially appreciate your explanations on the pronunciation. I have a copy of Alan Gardiner's Egyptian Grammar and I'm thrilled that you are referring to his texts. Your lectures are of great assistance in checking my work.
Always display the graphic with the hieroglpys you're currently explaining on the screen, it's much easier to understand that way. Thank you for this interesting work!
Hello, I'm Egyptian and I LOOOOVE how you link ancient Egyptian words to our nowadays Arabic or Egyptian-accent-Arabic, like the word Aywa, and also Wban, and Khad (in the water), and that you have your own opinion about how to pronounce the words .. Thanks a lot! I'll keep learning with you, sir. All respect!
I am looking forward to perhaps put together some lyrics myself after the course! Ill make sure I pass them along to you to check for errors before I record though :D
Bravo! After all your are suppose to know this alphabet more than enybody else ! Is'nt??? I like your method and appreciate your simplicity it seems to me very clear and simple. + . lots of exemples + a homework! I love it! Thank you ...
Egyptian is a really difficult language to learn but i am getting there bit by bit, I personally hope i can understand this for the future since it is an extremely important language in my eyes

The s with mark above is very clear how to use because it serves as sh, the 2 s are the problem, we treat both as s but I don't agree with that, one is s and the other could be z or th

I'm just a very beginner who is not being able to do the exercises yet but I think you can check other material over the web so help understand his videos better. It's always good to conjugate some techniques from different methods which, however, complement the one you're taking. I for one am trying to do that, but, as I try to learn several other languages, time to do the exercises and watcha the vids and read the texts is not often not enough, sometimes having to sacrifice the study of some so as not to lose the needed frequency for other languages studied. I suggest you watch this video lesson (I can't afford to pay for the course but I loved the free sample lesson),with it you will understand this course even better (I confess this channel is awesome but I will have to watch it more times to grasp the content better, whereas in this one I could get it from the first time I watched, cause he takes it letter by letter, pronounce each phoneme twice and draws it twice as well): Decoding the Secrets of Egyptian Hieroglyphs | Ancient Egyptian Alphabet | The Great Courses ruclips.net/video/WIjREbbFjNE/видео.html
Thank you for the quick reply! I have been an Egyptophile for almost my whole life. It really bothers me that scholars aren't 100% how it was spoken (proper vowels instead of putting "e" between consonants in most words). But maybe that adds a bit more mystery to it!

We don't actually know how the words were supposed to sound since vowels weren't recorded.
I feel like you've taught me so much your a great teacher I could watch and listen to you all day..

How come the rabbit glyph isn't used for "W" I see the quail chick glyph all the time. By rabbit I mean the rabbit glyph in Unas' name.
The rabbit is used for (wn) or (un) but it is not one sound symbol (w)
