Man, those were the days, when we stopped Ferguson and his greedy Red Devil’s. Vieira for me dominated our midfield. Arsenal winning our first league title since 90/91 season. Our football was so sweet and enjoyable.
Hey what you mean "greedy red devils"? Utd deserved all those titles. Just remember we took the title right back off you the following season. Now that's greedy.

That was a time when English football still relied heavily on wing tracking and crossing. Wenger came and brought fluid, graceful football, closer to the continent.

Funny thing is i thought Man Utd were the better side in 97/98. If they hadn't have lost Keane for the season they would've probably went on to win it. Arsenal won the title in 98 but Man Utd finishing in 2nd were the league's highest goalscorers and conceded the least amount of goals, and thats a rare thing to happen for a side that didn't end up as champions. I nevertheless thought Arsenal were clearly the best team in 02/03 but duly went on to finish runners-up, whilst like Man Utd in 97/98 they finished as top scorers and had the best goal difference.
