The white looks nice but my whole setup is black so decided to just go for the black one. It should arrive in a couple of days. Looking forward to testing out the tilt controls. I have the Corsair Harpoon Wireless and it's been great, still going strong. I've heard lots of people complain about issues with Corsair mice but I haven't had any issues with my Harpoon so fingers crossed for the M65.

I just saw your comment, sorry for the delay! That's exciting and glad you picked the one that best fits your set up! I'm assuming that it has arrived by now; how are you enjoying it so far? I have had a few people comment on issues with the left click but I haven't had any issues with either of the M65s I have!

Question...are you able to save your lighting settings to the onboard memory so you don't have to run iCUE in the background 24/7?

Hey Jesse! I am so sorry that I didn't see your comment. From what I have tried with the onboard memory, I haven't been able to. I can play around with it today and see if I can figure it out, though. Total transparency, I don't typically pay too much attention to what is running in the background so I will have to monitor that in tandem with the onboard memory settings to get you a good answer

It doesn't look like there is a specific setting to ensure that it saves to the onboard memory (at least that I saw in the iCUE software this evening). I did change the color in the application, close the application and force close it through the task manager to prevent it from running in the background and it did keep the color scheme that it was running after I went in - so in theory, that should work. I have not had a chance to try this for longer than an hour at this point but at least thought I would follow up with you to let you know what I immediately noticed!

I actually did get one just one last week and i cant say i love it, i mean the tilt functions actually did end up being really good but, and idk if yours has this quirk too, but when i let go of the mouse's sniper button after my thumbs been resting on it for a second it makes a sort of springing noise and vibrates the whole mouse, it also happens on the front "M5" button but due to its postion youd have to be trying to get it to happen for that one to go off and generally the side buttons just feel sort of mushy. Super annoying and im pretty sure this wasnt an issue with the old black one as i never saw anyone mention it.
Also on the software its kinda silly they dont let you rebind the middle click, reallyl ike having my sniper button as middle click persoanlly. It also doesn't seem to want to save information to its onboard memory properly, mostly being that it wont keep the DPi i had left it at untill the software turns on which means obviously its not using its on-board one. Think ill return mine but still other than that the size, shape and tilt functions would have made it a really great mouse so hopefully mines just a defective one

Sorry that your experience wasn't great! Aside from the difference in textures, I have had the same experience between both versions of the mouse. Everything is clicky but nothing more than what I expect (and identical between both models) and it definitely doesn't make a springing noise. I'm wondering if you might have received a defective mouse as well.
I am pretty bad about utilizing the bindings within the software so I haven't noticed issues with the on board memory as I typically change that it game (and my keybinds are pretty normal). I definitely should play with those a bit more, especially since that is part of what you are paying for with a mouse like this.
I'll keep you updated on if I end up having issues similar to what you described, though! What did you bind to the gyroscope feature? I mainly play fps so haven't thought of something that would be worthwhile to lift my mouse for while playing.

@@DCoombes Nice glad it was just mine! So far not much but i did bind t to my right tilt so i can flick on flashlights in-game as that's the key I usually bind them to assume the game actually has a flashlight to use =P otherwise it might have been fun to use the tilt to scroll with but unfortunately i couldn't get it to do a constant roll like I had hoped, only scrolling once per tilt so its almost there just not quite. Sure if corsair looked into it they could get it working.eitherway tilts are definitly my favorite part of the mouse and im sure i could have found a few more uses for it. I did say it felt mushy but honestly it was more just the back button that felt really off which is unfortunate as thats the only one that dosnt have the spring issue, go figure right

@@Thee_Jadex I definitely want to play around with it more so I actually use it. It is a sweet feature! I like the idea of using it to reload in games because it makes it a bit more immersive but don't know how much it would throw off basic movements.
It sounds like you just got stuck with a slew of problems in yours! I'll be doing an update video shortly and I'll try to get some of the clickiness of mine. I'm curious if you will notice something that I'm looking past!

@@DCoombes Oh! nevermind on not being able to rebind them middle click i didnt realize it wanted you to use the little mouse diagram that pops up to bind it instead of the text box like every other input. Oh corsair why must you be so difficult lol

@@Thee_Jadex I really wish they could try to mirror some of Logitech's software because it seems to be more intuitive. Regardless, glad you figured it out!

The mouse is 2 months old has it failed in the famous M65 left click yet. This M65 failure is legendary almost 4 years now. I had 2 mice in 6 months and went back to my old razor mouse.

I fortunately still haven't had any issues! Definitely some of the more common bad feedback I have heard, though. Everything still works for me like the day I got it!

Ok, so you uploaded this bad video... Why not just record a new one to make sue you don't have these same issues. However, since you are a fellow tech I will still like the video.
