I was in a Catholic church years ago and the priest told us to face a statue of mary while he did the mantra like prayers to mary. A bad, twisted feeling and spirit immediately came over me and i never went back!!!

"Shall/Will", denotes a command and not a suggestion.
"Call me Blessed".
You did not call her blessed even once, and I
sincerely doubt that you ever have in your entire life.
Catholics call her "blessed" and obey this command.
Martin Luther, the first protestant, called her "blessed".
He obeyed this command.
Now, please tell me why you do not follow this command of Holy Scripture?

Mary does not take away from the redemptive work of Christ nor does she add to it. If you want proof that Christ's redemptive work is perfect look to exhibit A- The blessed virgin Mary.

The words of the first part of the Hail Mary are words addressed to her by the angel Gabriel and her relative Elizabeth. The second part is merely a request for the mother of God to pray for us.
But most important of all: the whole point (the context) of the Hail Mary is not Mary but the incarnation of Jesus. Without the incarnation, we would have no Our Father. If Jesus had not taken flesh in her womb, we would necver have heard of her. So whenever we pray the Hail Mary, we are professing our faith in Jesus, the Word made flesh. As she said to Elizabeth, her soul magnifies the Lord;
everything about her speaks of God.

I’m a born again Christian in Jesus Mighty Name 🙏🏼. My parents always use to take me to the Catholic Church and when I was younger I used to be scared of the statues it was not right in my spirit. Thank you brother Gabe for preaching to the Catholic Church they need to see the TRUTH OF JESUS our Savior. Please pray for my mother she doesn’t want to see the Truth. I’m constantly praying for her salvation. 🙏🏼

I have since repented from it and reached out in apology to my family members. I have also been looking into apologetics lately, including the brilliant apologists like Dr. Frank Turek, Dr. Hugh Ross, Dr William Lane Craig, J Warner Wallace, Lee Strobel. I recommend looking into their videos on here, sites and books! They present the overwhelming evidence for why God/Jesus/Christianity are true, via various aspects like science, history, philosophy, etc. Doing so will help you learn the arguments as well and be able to explain things better to non believers, including Catholics. I spent the first 22 years of my life in the Catholic system. I never felt any power in the mass, it was a script that I memorized. No one ever brought a Bible to mass because the service was scripted out. Thankfully I was saved out of the organization and never looked back. To any Catholic reading this; there is eternal life outside the church through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Christ is the only way to heaven.
BTW, this church appears to adhere to pre-Vatican 2 traditions. I guess these churches are not sanctioned by Rome. Probably why the building looks like it's a rented office space and not an ornate cathedral.
Yes from what I have gathered Vatican 1 they faced the alter during mass Vatican 2 they made it so they faced the congregation to do so.. I could be wrong tho I'm not Catholic

The Bible says there's only one church. The Catholic church is the only church that obeys what Jesus said about eating his flesh and drinking his blood. Most of the Protestants disobey and reject Jesus's teaching about the Eucharist. The early church fathers taught that anyone who does not confess the Eucharist to be Jesus's body is of the antichrist.
I was baptized as an infant into the Catholic church, however as an adult I was baptized of my own accord into a Christian church!

There is one ritual that is still practiced . It is the incense that is brought out in some sort of a metal basket swinging from a chain and held up by the priest. The last time I was subjected to sit in a Catholic Church was for my father‘s funeral since most of my family members are still Catholic.

Roman Catholics have Mary as a Co Mediator known as a Mediatrix. But the Bible says that the mediator is between God and men and the man Christ Jesus in 1 Timothy 2:5.

I wasn’t catholic, but went to catholic school. I remember during our school day, how our classes would go to mass. One of those times, there was a ceremony for Mary, the Mother of Jesus, where they would get up from their seats and walk around single file to a statue of Mary, bowing and putting flowers at her feet. When it came time for our class to stand and walk to the statue, I stayed seated. The Sister(Nunn) came to me and asked me why I wasn’t standing and walking as well, I told her I can’t, because I Don!t worship idols, it’s a sin, and goes against God, and What is Written in the Bible. Her mouth flew open, and eyes got bigger😄. So when the service was over and we went back to our class, the principal (Sister/Nunn) came to the classroom, and told me I had to leave class and sit in the office with her because I wouldn’t take part in their mass(worship the idol statue) do that’s where I went, to the office. Just sharing my experience as a child in catholic school. I did Love going to catholic school though. And some of the priests and nunns really were wonderful! I attended Catholic school from 4 - 12. HS was all girl Catholic school in NJ. May Crowning i left early to go to work. I almost didn’t graduate with class cause I skipped Mary crowning statue. I had NO idea what Bible said then. Wish I did but I do still remember the 10 Commandments hanging on the wall and of course they take a nine and 10 and make it the covet one so they can skip the one about worshiping idols. That’s very deceitful. Thank God I got saved a few years later after that and finally learned what the Bible said they don’t teach the Bible whatsoever. Four years of theology class it was all Mary worship

Quick question why some church are look creepy scarier then Old cemeteries
I was an altar boy back over 50 years ago and served in a number of Latin masses. I still can remember the Latin citations at the moment of " Transubstaniation " hoc est enim corpus meim" translated "for this is my body" and the next citation also ( not included here). I was an altar boy for 4 years or more. I was treated well by the RC priests. At the mass you have basically a reinventing of the Old Covenant Rituals in a modern unbloody format. The Tabernacle contains the hosts which they believe to be the flesh of Jesus in the form of bread. This would be akin to the Most Holy place where the Lord would be present for the High Priest as he performed his duty as commanded in the Old Testament. The interesting thing is while the flesh of the animal sacrifices were consumed, or burned, there was the sprinkling only of blood. Drinking blood was strictly forbidden in the OT. In the mass the priest drinks the Transubstantiated wine they say in the blood of Christ. The actual making of idolatrous statues are forbidden in the ten commandments. They cite John chaper 6 to affirm the teaching of Transubstaniation which is completely false and taken out of context. The priests in RC religion are supposed to be mediators between the people and God. And in this office they have the authority to forgive sins in the confessional box. Scriptures declare only ONE mediator between us and God, and He is Jesus who is a perfect mediator as man and God. There's much more to this false religion to mention here than I have time for. Satan has unfortunately been very busy deceiving billions of people down through the centuries in the erroneous system. I read the Scriptures in my early 30ies and the Lord showed me the truth. I was reborn Spiritually by His Grace and immediately left this idolatrous religion to meet with other members of the real Church family. My mother was a staunch RC but was saved in the end after 15 year of prayer for her salvation. She left the RC Church a couple of years before she was ushered into His Presence. We true Born again saved sinners should continue to pray that Jesus would rescue people from the clutches of Satan in this false and very deceitful religion. The Gospel message in the good news and people are challenged to repent and ask Jesus into their hearts as Lord and Saviour.

Former Roman Catholic, raised on the east coast in the 1960's. So blessed i accepted the lord Jesus in the 1980's.
They are alter boys, my father and his twin were altar boys and they went yo a catholic school all the way through High School. Their parents were Irish Immigrant's and Roman Catholic.

I can identify with it because I am former Roman Catholic altar boy myself. But now a sinner saved by grace ( Ephesians 2/8) The lord didn’t save me from the Catholic Church he saved me from my sin. I grew up and I started reading for The Bible for myself and What I found out is That the Catholic Church makes you sin inside the church. The altar boys are there to assist the priest in certain rituals and help hand out communion. When I attended the Catholic Church, which was 40 years ago the Altar boys held a small plate under the chin of each person receiving communion and then would help clean up. Also, the parishioners would also kneel and stand at specific times during the Mass. Music and prayers were also played and said at specific times during the Mass. Every Sunday was the same ritual, One hour of nonsense. My brother and I got so bored we would start goofing off, making our own jokes and laughing and my mom would have to separate us or take us into the cry room (separate room) where parents with babies would go to hear the sermon through a speaker and a window so they can see inside the church. Also, I hated going to confession. Confession taught me to stay in my sin and that we always sin. Convenient ritual to keep people in their sin and to never truly repent as the Bible teaches.

The latter part of the "Hail Mary" prayer appears to contradict what Scripture declares in 1 John 3: 4-9.
Those who pray this prayer are repetitively confessing that they still practice sin (sinners).
"Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners."(?).
"Anyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness." "No one who abides in Him sins..." "The one who practices sin is of the devil..." "No one who is born of God practices sin..."
Those who pray this prayer repetitively are either falsely confessing, ignorant of the word of God, or really do believe that what Jesus did for them is not sufficient.
However, "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things pass away, behold, all things become new."

I’m an ex-Catholic, now born-again believer. All the ritual and prayers in the Mass are a lead up to the priest supposedly changing bread and wine into the literal body and blood of Christ. This is what their catechism says: 1367 The sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice: "The victim is one and the same: the same now offers through the ministry of priests, who then offered himself on the cross; only the manner of offering is different." "And since in this divine sacrifice which is celebrated in the Mass, the same Christ who offered himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is contained and offered in an unbloody manner. . . this sacrifice is truly propitiatory."
I was raised in New Jersey, I'm Italian, so by default I was Catholic for years and I could testify all they do is vain babblings .. it's all repetition... I personally believe there's a couple of people that are saved in the Catholic church but they are very very far and few between.. but it's very hard for me to believe if anybody has really saved that is Catholic... The Holy Spirit will not let you continue doing all those blaspheming and idol worship!!! Plus Paul warns us about these type of things..

I am Italian but grew up in California and my Nanny is from New York but she was Catholic so I grew up going to the Crystal Cathedral in California and going to catholic school and I HATED doing the holy water ritual and just All of it seemed OFF to Me. I'm thankful we can out of it. I truly believe the Pope has a HUGE connection to the Antichrist or Satan himself. The Vatican is the CREEPIEST place I've ever seen and I haven't been in person. They present the overwhelming evidence for why God/Jesus/Christianity are true, via various aspects like science, history, philosophy, etc. Doing so will help you learn the arguments as well and be able to explain things better to non believers, including Catholics. i was born and raised in a Catholic home with catholic teaditions, I am now A Christian and there is constant conflicts at my home because of it. I don't feel it either Gabe. Thank you for all you do! We just had revival at our little church and we shouted and it was so spirit filled. We told our testimonies and some of us went to pray. When I saw the priest appear holding that chain and I could actually see the smoke of the incense something stirred up in my spirit and I asked the Lord please don’t allow me to breathe that smoke whatever they’re burning in that thing. And sharing I think God‘s mercy I never smelt it even though I could see the smoke when he walked past where I was sitting. I thanked my Lord and Savior and I promised I would never enter a Catholic Church again.

There are other days of the week were disciples preached and broke bread, but the sabbath is significantly different being a day appointed by God

I was a trad latin mass catholic for awhile. One thing I thought about the catholic church when praying in a group prayer such as a the rosary was how rude it was to pray it so fast. This looks like a latin mass or a blend of latin/english mass. It is common even for men who are adults to assist at mass as "altar boys" although I do not think they call it that. Often they are maybe a deacon or a young man who might be thinking of priesthood who serves at latin mass.
They make me nervous, strange cult for sure.

Certain ritual sounds as chatting - invoking and summoning. Never felt comfortable during my visits as a youth. It seemed to me foolish, ridiculous and ignorant when I was at 10 years old.😊

Never understood why certain parts of Catholic ceremonies were in Latin. What average person in the US speaks Latin in the 21st century??? I would think that God would want us to UNDERSTAND everything that was spoken in the church.
I knew as a young child in the Catholic church something was terribly wrong. My mom forced us to go. I went to my dad and told him I didn't want to go anymore. Instead started going to church with our neighbor a very loving Christian and I started to understand what Yah was about.
Then as a young adult I drifted and came back to Yah and was reborn as a Christian. Since then I haven't looked back.
Yah is ALMIGHTY and is always there if you seek and follow him and his commandments.
I'm still learning and reading Yah's word and growing in the Holy Spirit. Blessed in our Lord Yeshua King of King's and Lord of Lord's.
I asked my "Christian friend" What he belevied in. He said they worship mary more than Jesus. I was like whaaat? Hes orthodox and dont know anything about the faith.. I feel so sad for him. Some day i will teach him the real word of GOD.

Catholics latley are coming at my channel and we talk things out. I just keep telling them to read their Bible. Most people are lazy and they will not read it for themselves and if they did they would learn. But people want to leave their salvation in the hands of a pope or priest so there u have it folks. First off I have no excuses for not reading scriptures in my younger days. I had the opportunity to but had God on the back burner. Never fully acknowledged him but said I was a Christian, while living like the devil. I was like warm for man year's, until now. Now I'm trying to do better as I feel the urgency to get Right.
I seen you have a lot of Faith in Pope's. They do have good information as far as reading your Bible. That's always good. But the way I see it is the devil always comes as light and fools many. The devil loves to mix both truth and lies together causing confusion. We know from God's word what's wrong and right. All the churches have their problems yes. Here some of the Catholic church problems........ IDOLATRY, sexual immortality, praying to Mary when she is dead and doesn't hear our prayers but only God. Using a priest as a intercessor to get to God, when we know who to pray to, and that's Jesus Christ. Jesus said himself I am the way, the truth and the LIFE 🧬 and no one gets to the Father but by me. That's Jesus speaking. I would warn you to burn your Catholic Bibles on fire and read only God's word. The Holy Bible king James version. It's the one you want. There's many weird versions out there that you can get confused by. But God is not the spirit of confusion. Read your holy Bible and ask the holy Spirit to lead you into all truth and your in good hands there.
Do not rely on a pope, or man or a church. Rely on the word of GOD ONLY. Get yourself into a good Bible based church and try to stay away from any religion or religious doctrine. Remember it's not about religion but a relationship with our God Jesus Christ. And I may have came off sounding wrong or like I know it all.... sorry.. I certainly do not and I'm still learning myself through the holy Spirit. I am not worth of God. I am a sinner, and probably one of the worst sinners you can think of ha. But when I read God's word I realized it's people like me that he came to redeem. I could never fix myself lol. I couldn't even get through highschool. I still struggle with lust, alcohol, a rocky marriage, anxiety and the list goes on. But I have hope in CHRIST Jesus my Lord and savior that he will be here when I need him. Ex traditional Catholic here. 21 years old. I remember being shared the true message of the gospel last year and it rattled my entire reality. The entire ceremony of the mass began to disturb me like never before, and eventually Jesus Christ took that radical spirit of religiousness out of me and I denounced Catholicism around the beginning of summer 2022. My entire family thinks I’ve lost the plot, even more so because of the loathing Catholics have for protestants (which is what they insist I am because I go by my “own” interpretation of the Bible). My mother prays endless rosaries to Mary all day and night for me, which completely erode on her spirit as I see her breaking down completely from time to time. All in all Catholicism does not provide peace to anyone like the Spirit of the Lord does. It is the most Satanic system of mind control and witchcraft which bound me in fear and uncertainty for years and still does to millions of people today. It truly sends a vast ocean of souls to hell. May the Lord open their eyes to the truth.
