I love the Rezo technique. I have 3a hair and just got my first one yesterday.(from a wonderful stylist in Arlington MA)
My hair doubled in volume. She had to try to repair the Ouidad cut I got last time which thinned my hair so much!
Anyway I'm still amazed by it and I watched this and was amazed also. When
she was talking about trees, it made me think that this technique is kind of like topiary, you know like trimming the hedges haha.
I didn't understand why it worked but now I do it's really going for an overall shape.

Coconut oil is great for the ends, once there is a moisturizer or a non-comedogenic to give ends moisture.

Looks like she just did a Deva cut on your hair. Def not a Rezo's cut, but it still looks good!
I was thinking the same.. it seemed by curl by curl as far as the technique where the Rezo cut, I thought gathered sections of the hair and cut in a circular flower motion...It's looks great though!!
That's not quite the technique of a Rëzocut but she did ok.

What's the difference between a rezo cut and a deva cut?
Deva is a layered cut for curly hair-you won’t be able to wear it straight. So more shape.
Rezo is also layered but is angled in way that still looks even when it’s straightened. Less shape.

I like the consultation but I don’t like how she did the Shirley temple curls. You will get more volume and length by smoothing product through sections rather than creating tighter coils. And your style would look better with a side part. Jmo

How she did those comb curls without your hair getting stuck lol ?! I tried to do it and my hair was getting stuck, but I think it’s probably because my texture is very coarse and “wiry”. Is your texture more on the finer side ?
hi! yes it is. I was trying to learn while she was doing it. I like that technique on my hair but it's time consuming.
