I'll never forget this place. I flew to Australia in 2016 and drove to Warruumbungle to stargaze. I ended up taking some LSD and sitting on the picnic table in the middle of a field, surrounded by kangaroos, full moon as well. Absolutely one of the most important, spiritual, pivotal, surreal moments of growth in my life.
Hi! I'll be going to Australia january and I'd llllove to go exactly where you've been! Would it be possible for you to pin point me the location? Hearing about your experience, tho narrated with just a few sentences, really got deep into me, because I'm sure it would've been so magical for me too!
I was planning to visit warrumbungle last year but plans didn't materialize. Watching this makes me want to go asap. Amazing shots and edits mate, subscribed.
Fantastic video; I’m working on a similar project in west texas soon. Getting the stars and a foreground object such as observatory in the last shot to all be in focus is a challenge. Do those pictures have to be stacked somehow or is the sky dark enough that aperture can be closed up? Im blown away and fascinated great job.
Just an Awesome Cinematic Video you got there! Soo many amazing shots and great thoughts behind it... Really had me from the beginning! :) I had to click on it! Gives me very good ideas and inspiration for my own videos. Thank you for uploading! :) Can't wait to try it out!
Hey Fillipo I am planning to visit this place to watch night sky and see the Milky Way!! I am currently in Sydney!! Any suggestions on what to expect when I go there??
Actually Nick if you look up the international dark sky parks you’ll see there’s two here in Australia. Coonabarabran in western NSW and one in Punyelroo in SA near Big Bend. With the recent flooding in NSW and Qld I’d recommend SA.
gorgeous timelapse footing and doco, cheers
Thanks André!
This video doesn’t have nearly enough recognition, this is amazing

Thanks! No stacking required, if you shoot with a 15mm lens at f/2.8 (on full frame) your hyperfocal distance is less than 3 meters!
