+Alyssa R 1. Sure. Take them 2. Yes. They are all dope 3. Their pit is unbelievable and do it. I did.
I saw there show at music in motion and i thought it was amazing
Weston McDannell it was dope right?!? I was there too and I had a good time watching their show too
Campos...
I bought a snare from you guys from the 2015 indoor season. It's in insanely good condition and plays great. Just a question how come the feet on the bottom of the snare was missing?
+RADZADproductions sorry bro, I wasn't in the 2015 indoor season. I joined my junior year in 2016. But those drums (and drums after that) still didn't have the feet at the bottom either. I honestly don't know the reasoning because I just drummed, did what they told me to do, and not question in. But I don't believe there's too much of a significance to it. They're just not there
RADZADproductions how much did you buy it for? I'm not part of Ayala hs, just curious
If you buy drums they usually don't come with feet unless you bought the snare with them
Tlalollin Ramirez ah ok, I'll just have to forge over 10 bucks and buy them lol.
Mike L around 350 to 400, don't remember the exact amount. Totally a good buy for that snare.
Did Ike just teleport in front of tenors at 1:11 0_0
+Zoren Ocampo no. That dude walks fast.
Lol
Jump cuts my friend.
Nice job with the video. I've been watching your videos lately and I'm impressed with your ability to seamlessly line up your edits with the music. You are either very talented, very patient, or a little bit of both. ;) Keep up the good work!
Wow who’s the instructor?
+ATL DRUM ACADEMY Mr. Ike Jackson

Wait wait wait!! U guys rehearse during the SCHOOL DAY?!? WTF?!? yall going ta class all sweaty and sunburned after something like this?!?!😰
HyruleWarrior12 yes. It sucked. The only good thing about it was that there was only one period after Drumline period. But yes, it sucked
Oof....Im in my school's drumline, but if WE practiced like THIS?! boy I be sweating them bullets lol😂.......anyway yall have a Great Drumline
Tlalollin Ramirez how do people take tests or focus in the class when there’s all this drumming going on lmaoo
Angus Hsieh real talk..
We rehearse like this in the hot weather for 2 periods a day in the beginning of the day. 0 period and 1st period. Right after I've also had PE, so I would come in my PE clothes then change into my regular clothes after PE. Some people just changed after band.
I had no idea Ike worked with y'all. He came to my school this last year to help us out and judge a contest in Houston
John Wolff well now he’s .... well canceled
im going to just point out that your brother was killing it!
Are all of that school inst. Sch provided or the drums are bought by the members.I really wish i had a tenor like one of those😄😀😀
+Sean Mijares yeah. The tenors are nice
I went to one of there compitions we got second after them I think in musical performance I don't remember what the scores were
+TheLunaticGriffin Fosho. It must've been a close score then

Is this a high school dl?!?!?
+NORULZGAMER2162 _ OH YEAH!! I should change the title. Thanks man. Yes, yes they are
Tlalollin Ramirez I want to see some more of this man! I am a sophomore and play tenors at my school. We honestly suck compared to this. Any transcriptions?
I also bet half of these kids are DCI material too
+NORULZGAMER2162 _ watch some of my previous videos back when I was actually IN the line!!! I graduated and don't know if I'll be marching anywhere. And... I'm not sure. I probably have some old music lying around somewhere
+NORULZGAMER2162 _ everyone is DCI material. The skill level between each corps varies tho
who are the snares? name and grade would be nice
+Logan Knight
Senior: Joy Soquiat
Juniors: Mary Peña, Cristian Vista, Francis Yang
Sophomore: Bethany Betancourt
Freshman: Aiden Eustaquio, Connor Lu, Haley Gamboa
Holy shit how r the freshmen so good already
+Angus Hsieh Their middle school has a line that's better than a lot of A class high schools. Even some open class.
Tlalollin Ramirez Thanks man! alot of talented peeps at ayala!
+Angus Hsieh practice makes perfect
I would love to make this snare line, but I'm out in Florida....

how tf is this a high school ensemble...
The HS...seems to have money to by lots of equipment
I suck at everything hehehe
do the bass drums even do anything useful
look up vids of basslines, it might help you understand
Yes, I don't want to call them out specifically, but a school in my district didn't march basses for outdoor in 2017, and it ruined the whole sound of the battery. You don't realize how much an individual sub-caption can affect the sound until you take it out. The director, I don't know if it was the percussion director or band director, decided to put more younger players on flubs and cut bass thinking it would develop their chops better. Whether that idea is true is debatable, personally, I disagree cause if the bass parts don't build their chops enough then you should write better bass parts. But either they realized it wasn't better or decided it wasn't worth the decrease in sound quality because for indoor that season and then this past marching season (2018), they brought back the bassline. But back to your question, yes they do have a useful role, and that role is equally as useful as snares or tenors because without them the line sounds bad overall.
