@@shaanfliesplanes imo playing any paradiddle based warmup is much easier with a line than other things like triplet roles. As long as everyone’s thinking of even 16th notes and being in time it should get relatively clean
Nick does Quad drumming one of the drums had a drum (3) whose shell was completely obliterated, and majority of the spike and Spock rims were warped, and shells warped as well. There was visible force used on the spike drums and quite some abuse in general lol
sounds great. i have only issue. the outfitts/uniforms.. that is, how they clash with the solid white sticks making their subtle heights and just plain cool stick/mallet stuff in general all but invisible. maybe if they chose a different color of tape?.. perhaps just a slightly off white color. i know ill probably get shit for this comment but personally I think (and I know Im not alone in this) that seeing sticks and mallets clearly is a major thing in drumline and ive always been disappointed when a good line, corps or high school, dons white uniforms which in turn makes it incredibly hard to see all the cool yet often subtle stick visuals. Anyways.. line sounds great.
Bryan Brawner they shouldve got black stick tape or at least done stripes with gold or something to give some contrast i get its supposed to be all white for the visual aspect but i agree wouldve been nice to see their sticks
OK... elephant in the room.... Somebody asked why are they all Asian? I note looking at the demographics of the city, Chino Hills is 32% white, 27% Hispanic and 33% Asian. Looking at a photo of the Ayala band from this same year, the band had 227 members in it and the band pretty much looked like the statistics I just noted. In the entire band there were two black girls in the guard btw.. that's it. So that being said.. What gives? Why doesn't this drum line look anything at all like the rest of the band programe? Why does Chino Hills High School have such a more diverse makeup than Ayala? Genuine question...
@@definitelynotcainan3353the show concept and music were incredible. One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. It’s boomy at Dayton, small details get lost but the overall impression sticks with you
No, I actually am here for the drumming. Just saying that they have a attractive center snare. And before you wonder I'm not some 40 year old perv... I'm still Independent line age.
Imagine if someone got a mustard stain on there uniform
My favorite drummer is the person in white
Idk, the one next to him is pretty good.
In case anyone is wondering, 1: Db 2: Bb 3: Gb 4: Eb 5: Bb 6: Eb
@Nick does Quad drumming I believe he meant the bass drums tuning
Nah man. That’s what they tune the tenors to
@@mb2268 what kind of savage numbers the drums 1-6?
13:20 put me in tears, they were so clean then got so dirty but overall a great drumline. 12/10

Them drums sounds great
4:57 no one chino hills
Where can I find their warmup music?
And btw one of the snares stomach plate is put on wrong
No, the belly plate is usually put on like that for people who are small in some sort of fashion, to get that extra support
ian torres its to get the belly plate out of the way of their legs we do the same for our 2,3 bass and 2 of our snares
That end snare on the right is not hard to look at...
Aiden Eustaquio wait...aren't you him?
I love you dude you highkey inspire me
you killed it bro !!

And another question... this line is straight up dirty. I mean REALLY dirty... How the hell did they score so high?
You sir are no fun
@@MrBrown1106 That may or may not be true... doesn't change the fact that this line was really dirty and probably got points on their name.
