When the detective says "I know you're not bad guy, maybe you were just in the wrong place at a wrong time " you know you're done
when the cop says “just tell me the truth: you panicked,” you’re going to jail, buddy.
or when they say they're just trying to help you out
@@redlabel9920 no they are not your friend, they try to lure you in and seem friendly just to snatch on your vulnerability and insecurity and make you confess, whether you have done it or not. This is their job they dont try to help you

“Goofy? It’s a murder.” This guy really thought he could silly talk his way out of that one lol
goofy has become pretty common slang with a ton of different meanings depending on context. i dont think he's trying to silly talk his way out, that's just how he talks
@@CocoaMoloko yeah it’s been a slang word since I was a kid. I know that. And he is absolutely trying to talk his way out by constantly interrupting, avoiding answering questions and deflecting with empty phrases like “that’s some goofy shit” and it absolutely sounds silly
If someone breaks into your house and steals your things, then you go chasing after them and shooting them. It really seems a bit much to call it murder if the alternative is that the cops refuse to arrest the person who burglarized you.

Imagine getting life in prison because you tried to steal someone bookbag that probably didnt have anything but textbooks in it
No wonder text books are so expensive, RIP to the victims.
Actually I went to the same school that was shown in the video. It’s Full Sail University in winter park, Florida. It’s a school for people in tech and arts. We didn’t have any books but every student that goes there gets a “launch box” which is basically all the essential tech you’ll need to get through the program. For example if you’re in the music production program, you get a Mac book pro, headphones, studio monitors (I think) and some other cool stuff. And for me, I was in game development and then switched to mobile development and I got a pretty expensive pc laptop, a vr headset and an iPad. I’ve heard stories of people getting their cars broken into because of our parking tag thing we have for Full Sail because criminals know if you go to that school, you’re gonna have some expensive stuff in your car. Lol.
@@wingsofpizza Any security there at all? Seem's like kind of an issue if it doesn't extend into the parking lot
@@alligatorwithwifi6111 I went to school there from early 2019 to 2022. When I was there I never saw anything crazy go down on campus. It’s a pretty big campus but I’d say the security is adequate. But then again we have a bunch of restaurants around the campus that anyone can go to and anyone can in theory come onto campus grounds without being questioned. But I did one time have a meeting while I was parked in the campus parking lot and a security/police officer observed me for a few minutes and came and questioned me to see why I was sitting in the parking lot with my car on for so long. Lol. Another time when I was in class we got a warning to stay indoors due to some security concerns and it turned out that it was just some crazy guy that just wandered into our parking lot but he wasn’t even really a threat. I’d say the security on campus is pretty decent but a lot of students stay in apartments that are pretty close to campus. Like within a 1-2 mile radius. At one of the ones I was staying at I had a neighbor who was a former student there and was a music producer and one night my gf and I heard glass breaking outside and for some reason we didn’t think anything of it but the next day I see my neighbor’s car window broken and covered with plastic sheet. I asked my neighbor what happened and he said his car got broken into and his (expensive) music equipment got stolen. He was the third person to tell me that Full Sail cars have a higher chance of getting broken into especially in that area and that was the first time I’ve seen it actually happen to a person. Lol. I don’t know what ended up happening after but you’re not likely to get mugged or robbed on campus but you definitely gotta be careful about showing potential criminals that you’re from a school that basically gives you expensive tech/gear for free. I mean it’s not really free but you’re guaranteed to have something cool if you go to school there.
@@alligatorwithwifi6111 But it’s possible they upped security after the incident in this video. I’m not sure how good or bad it was before I came here though. Still sad to see someone get robbed of their life when they’re paying so much money to learn new skills and better your life and some degenerate “gangster” takes it from you for a few thousand dollars worth of stuff that he’d probably just end up spending on shoes or some shit to show off to all the other pieces of shit that he’s the coolest piece of shit for having the most expensive shoes.

If you are in an interrogation room, no matter what is said, the cops are never on your side. And NEVER answer questions without a lawyer present.
I just want to state this for anyone who sees my comment. I, as a conservative I once thought, the police are on your side. They just want to find the truth. However, I now know when a detective talks to you, they assume automatic guilt. Five years ago, I trusted the police enough to not need a lawyer. What a horrible, horrible price I paid for my trust. ALWAYS have a lawyer present!!!!
@jdm3072 exactly, my 16 year old sister (years ago) who grew up in a conservative family believed In trusting the police. I always told her not to comply and just shut up. I'm the black sheep lol. Well she was caught drinking with "friends" one of her friends had her holding an xtc pill for a festival in my sister's car. The female cop told my sister to "just be honest, I promise you help me and you won't go to jail"... my sister gave into a search that would of been illegal if she didn't give consent. Again the female officer said "if I find anything, you are a kid I'll throw it away and we can use this as a lesson".... well fast forward my sister sits in jail on her period that night, they refused to give her tampons and she bled all over her self until i bailed her out 2 days later. You must be a criminal since you like giving these losers advice. Let them talk and go to jail like they should.
These people just wanna clear shit off their docket the judges are like that too
First detective says “ I spoke to the victim and he pointed you out and said ya that’s the guy who shot me. “ the next sentence “ I also know you didn’t mean to kill that kid.” Wow the shooter is stupid
Or stressed, or assumed he the police officer might have accidentally said victim instead of witness, or assumed he must have misheard the first sentence, or didn't quite hear him because of how fast he was speaking. I know this is a possibility because I made the assumption to that at first the police officer must have said the wrong word, then i humbled myself and thought maybe I just misheard, but then with the full context, it turns out the dumb one in this conversation is the police officer, because he almost blew the fact that he was bullshitting by stumbling over. He was lucky the interviewee didn't catch his dumbass mistake.

What's the problem with what he said? He could be implying that the victim survived, and besides, murdering him wasn't the gangster's intention.
"Didn't mean to kill him" doesn't always mean "...but he died anyway", it could also mean "...and he didn't die either".
For example: I didn't mean to kill my cat when I fed him. And fittingly, he is still well and alive on my bed.

Question: The first guy got 'Life in Prison', does it mean the rest of their lives or a set number of years? Seems weird that the last example got "only" 38 years for basically the same crime.
"Life" can mean different things in different states, sometimes it means a minimum time before parole (25 years in many states) or it can mean you'll be in prison until you die. Often, if you'll be in prison until you die, it's called "natural life"
Last guy got second degree murder charge because they couldn’t prove it was premeditated. That’s why he didn’t get “life in prison”
It can depend a lot on the state and the jurisdiction too.
