If I hadn’t just received a high-tech materials jacket (graphene) from a Kickstarter campaign, then I’d be very interested in this one. I love my v2.0 Evolution pants from Western Rise, also scored through Kickstarter.
Hey Dave, Very thorough review of the Meta jacket. I backed the KS. For size, I saw that you said you’re 6’ and 185lbs. To get a sense, I’m much shorter at 5’9” but have broad and long torso (21’). I typically wear 40-42” suits and XL for more loose fit. I’m wondering if I need a L or XL now. Are you wearing your Airloft jacket underneath? Do you feel the L is loose or tight fit? Thanks!
Hey! I’m wearing the AirLoft jacket underneath which is a M and the Mets itself is a L. I found the Meta to be a slight bit baggy but I prefer that for layering on a rain shell. Also quick correction, and sorry if I misspoke in the video, I’m 195, average length torso but hella long arms
Thanks Dave. Yeah you seem to have a long wingspan. Mine is the torso! Lol I got the large for both the Meta and Airloft Jacket. The sleeves will be too long but hope the rest fits. I saw another video where a guy was built like me, weight and height and he got the large. It was not loose but I think it’ll work

I’d say it runs slightly larger than normal. If you’re someone who like a a thicker under layer, I’d go with your normal size. If you want to wear a T-shirt you may want to size down 1
@@CarryologyTV Appreciate the feedback. I have a large airloft hooded jacket & it fits perfectly...I'm 5'10, 190-ish. If I were to want to layer, I think I'd need an XL.
This and the Airloft is all you’d really need. Look forward to getting one. The Airloft is my favorite jacket all time so I’m excited for this one
Totally agreed for most climates. The further north you go you may need a bulkier jacket

No, the design doesn’t support that if I’m thinking of the right orbitgear jacket where it basically has backpack straps
