Hi guys, thanks for the great review (I am Matthieu Verdier, developer for this game)! You seemed to understand the designers proposition very well! Concerning the Reputation track that can be climbed easily, it is intentional: it's more about how quick you climb it (to unlock bonuses) than climb it fully. Thus, climbing it quickly also makes you score 1 extra VP each time you exceed Reputation, I already managed to do that by the end of the 2nd round :)
Hey Matthieu! Thank you for watching, and thank you for working on this amazing game! Glad we got the reputation track right. We are just so used to tracks being very hard to climb, so it took us a bit by surprise 😂
Fantastic review!! This game looks Great!! ... been a big fan Lopiano ever since Calimala. I have been waiting for a heavier game from him. Looks like he nailed it.
Thank you for the review - very insightful and thorough. I had kind of ignored this one before (despite the publisher's great track record and the super design duo) but now it's firmly on my radar. I'll have to investigate the solo mode more but your review has me highly intrigued now. Great video!
Hey guys! I've done three plays now and this is one of the best five games I have played this year. My only concern at this point is player count...it's good at 3p, but at 4p it was exceptional. So much great interaction and the worker placement system feels novel here. Excited to get more plays in soon!
I loved it at 2, but it's even better at 3. Haven't had the chance to play 4, but this is one of the euros where I will absolutely love to try it at max player count! Glad you have been enjoying this one :D
Sorry We Are French seem like a great publisher. Smart games with a really nice production. They did the reprint of Iki, and it's also rather lovely (though I must admit I prefer the Ukiyo-E art style of the original). Looking forwards to giving this one a try.
Hi, I'm reallyu interested in this game. It vould be the best Lopiano+Mangone game so far. By the way, in The Colonists you can find some Embassies that are chosen at the beginning of the game and change how you play it.
Great breakdown of the game. And the top down camera works well. This game looks great... But I hate when the double sided boards aren't glued together. Any amount of warping and the pieces don't sit right/get swallowed between the layers. It's enough of an annoyance, that I'd probably skip the whole game. :/
I can absolutely see that! It won't be hard to use the double sided dot stickers used in other games to fix them together, but I would have loved for it to be included in the box!
@@witorudobrody Haha! I do think both are very good heavier euro games, so if that is something you usually like, I don't think you'll go wrong with any of them!

I've played once.
It was VERY good.
Happy to hear you liked it! 🤩 It’s super good 🥳
This looks right up my alley! Thanks for showing it off.
Thank you so much :D It's a fantastic game!
The first thing I did at Essen was to buy Shackleton!
Their booth was the closest to entrance.

Thank you! 😁 Glad you liked it! Lopiano is one of the designers I will always just play asap!
@@BoardGamingRamblings 💯 agree!!!

This looks great! Sorry We Are French has been putting out some amazing games lately. Can't wait to get my hands on this one!
Yes, they are becoming a publisher to always look out for!
Fab Tshirt that Sunneva is wearing on this video.
I agree! I love it :D

Yeah, they are doing great things! Hope you’ll get a chance to try it soon! It’s really a lot of fun!
"This gives me the feeling of 🎵this is fun...I like this, this is fun...I like this 🎵"
"That's a good feeling"
This made me laugh out loud 😂
Hahaha!
Thanks to u2. On my wishlist for essen. Is there a preorder for it?
Wondering this too
I haven't seen one soon, but hopefully you'll be able to get a copy there!

I'll be at Spiel. 🙂 This is high on my list, but no sign of a pre-order for it... Hoping it doesn't sell out before I get to the booth!
Fingers crossed it won’t be too hard to get your hands on! Such an amazing game! 😁

How is it at 2 players?
Is it better at 3?
Hi guys! Did you play at two? And what were your sensations?
Really like it at two, but even better with more!
Sold!!! How to get this now?? 😂😂
Should be available at Spiel, and hopefully retail soon after! :D
Wow, second space game that you recommended, that will be hard for my wallet 😂 how you compare it to Galactic Cruise? Thx for review!
They are very different games, and I do love them both, haha! Sorry for not having a better answer :P
@@BoardGamingRamblings It is good answer, it means I need both :D
@@witorudobrody Haha! I do think both are very good heavier euro games, so if that is something you usually like, I don't think you'll go wrong with any of them!
Hi, what's the date of release?
It’s debuting at Spiel, so that is the start of October :)
I thought it was solid but it’s a daunting teach, suffers from a bit of down time and the theme is pretty flimsy. Felt quite dry mechanically for me
But does it play solo. ?
