and I think one of the biggest difference in study culture in the Philippines and Korea is the "Academy". most students in Korea even elementary students go to certain academy after school and they go to home 9 or 10pm. Thankfully it is not like that here.

Yah your right korea is more on appreciating life by spending less time in school unlike in the philippines that subjects taught are overloading the minds of filipino learners.8 hours of learning but still the philippine educational performance is still the lowest.because minds of filipinos always tired.then subjects in the philippines is always repeatitive.😅😅😅😅

In the Philippines, your school is your 2nd home. Your classmates are your school brothers and sisters. The teachers in your school are your 2nd parents. The whole school is your big home. Everyone in your school is your family that loves and cares for you. The security guards are your protectors. The rest of other school workers are your uncles and aunts.

korea and ph have some similarity in traits but sometimes the culture in korea gives too much pressure on the people that makes them cold in some ways, but i know indeed that korean people are kind and warm just like filipinos, its just the culture and environment that changes some people.. also ph have a lot of flaws too, because there is really no perfect country existing out there, just need to embrace the differences and keep improving for the good.. spread love!

Filipino teachers will happily share their snacks with all their students. I had a teacher that made delicious hamburger and chicken sandwiches for everyone. There was a teacher we had that would generously give all her students chocolate brownies that she shares with all of us.
Filipino students invite their teachers to their family parties. Teachers and students are very close with each other.

I'm in College right now, and I realized a lot of things hahaha. I don't have any regrets about my Elementary and high school days they're all good memories that I can picture it "beautiful" today 😌 I did a lot of activities while learning at the same time no pressure to be on top of the class but just enjoy. The most memorable thing I can always recall was when the whole class helped each other to pass the surprising quizzes, and some did funny things or asked a lot of questions to make discussions long just to avoid sudden recitations.
The school activities such as sports events, and clubs events showcasing the talents and the competitiveness of every section where you can see the collaboration and Unity of the class.
However, I was in the second batch of Senior High School, I was so pressured at that time I was just so focused on learning, studying a lot, planning my future, and planning everything until it ruined my life that I almost committed suicide and it more hurt that all those things are doesn't make sense when I entered College.
When entering college, everything feels new, like starting from the very bottom of learning but the difference was learning real life. In those past years of learning, I learned the basics and the most important tools and skills for learning such as writing, reading, speaking and counting. Those life experiences of the past are a demonstration of how things work in real life. In college, you'll learn to use those things you've learned to survive in life.
So I'm just saying move on from the past, be happy with the present, focus on the present and just be surprised in the future. ❤😊

Hello Kim Lynn. I've been watching a lot of K-drama and in almost ALL of them, there's always a bullying scene. Did you experience this in Korea? We're you ever made to do something you wouldn't normally do but had to do it because a "senior" commanded it? Keep vlogging, your English will definitely improve the more you speak and be humble in accepting constructive criticism especially in your pronunciation and your spelling. filipinos have this kind of culture that says that our teachers are our 2nd parents.. both the teachers and the students know this quote, so now you can somehow understand why there is such thing like this in the philippines😉
