For €148 You can get Harley Benton Progresive with floyd, but without stainless steel frets... if floyd isn't Your thing You can get it floydless for around €100. I have their 8 string and it's good enough for me
Damn, stop being so goooood at guitar. You're making the rest of us look bad. Interestingly, there are several guitars that I've tried, liked, but ultimately not purchased because the volume control was NOT in that position. I don't want to go on a 3 day hike to find it, I want it right there in my hand. Symptomatic of having learned on a Strat I suppose.
I hate that as well, mostly when i have a whammy bar, just gets in the way. What I'll do most of the time its ditch de tone and put the volume there, i dont mind the hole...
It's so true when people say "this is a great guitar, makes me want to play guitar" people who don't play guitar would think that is a stupid thing to say but it totally isn't, it's like a great guitar makes one feel more creative and ramps their ability up massively
Too true. My wife doesn't understand having multiple guitars. Each one of mine, I love playing. From my £270 Yamaha Pacifica 311H to my £1700 Gordon Smith Custom Graduate. I have the Harley Benton Fusion Pro HSH Roasted Maple which was about £330 and it too is fantastic. Stays in tune better with its Wilkinson MK50 than my Ibanez RG6PCMLTD with double-locking trem.
Sohib Conner they’re great value for money. But you’ll definitely want to upgrade the pickups. Go to my channel, I have a couple of videos where I’m playing them (the misha mansoor JST video, and the CPJ playthrough video)
But it's actually a nice system to name your guitars. You can just look at the name and say: " Oh, a Harley Benton Fusion II with 2 humbucker pickups, a Floyd Rose trem, maple neck, flamed maple top and a light blue burst finish."
The Floyd Rose on these is pretty fun actually. Got this model since it came out a year ago and still stays in tune as long as it's setup properly and has good strings on. I use it heavily btw
Owh man, new studio sounds dope, even if there is tons of reverb in it. Kinda adds character to the whole audio quality. LOVE IT AND LOVE THE GUITAR AND TRACK!!
Very clean riffs excellent video I love to shred and get techy but at the end of the day crisp intent and clear audible riffs like this are way better for actually hearing and comparing the wood of the guitars and think it's a great way of hearing the guitar
I’m with you on the floyd rose thing, especially if like me, you want to change between tunings, a floyd rose means your basically stuck with one. Of course, you could always just get one guitar per tuning, but then my wife would have many things to say, and none of them positive....

In my opinion the best budget guitar for metal is the jackson js 22-7 DKA, its a 7 string guitar for just 200 dollars and it is just the best guitar i've ever had
Hey man, great video, love that track really got deep in my heavy metal soul, can you do fire and flames in 20 styles? Thats a very sexy guitar as well.
Totally agree with the uncomfortably close proximity of the volume knob. Major problem I hope they fix on all of their guitars with the exception of the Les Paul styles
You mean make a video showing how I write a song from scratch? I made a video last year where I wrote a song in 1 hour, that video shows most of my process (although it was a bit quicker than normal haha). I like to spend at least a few days writing a song usually. Thanks for watching! :)
Got it. Great guitar, it was well setup, Its freaking beautiful And plays so well! Love The pickups too! It was a good step up from my cheap squier strat.
Oooh, new studio! Hmmm.... I've been eying these for quite a while, mainly for "stainless steel frets and a Floyd" (I LOVE floyds, been playing them since 19kerfuffle) and it's interesting that you really liked this guitar. I can see my wallet eying me with that "oh please..." look the cat gives you just before you stuff it into the basket, bound for the vet.....
I have an Ibanez with such a volume knob, very close to where strumming hand will move into... after some time i decided to repurpose that knob place to a power connector for an external battery (very low profile); another solution would be to use only the tone knob position, repurposed for volume (how many people actually use the tone knob anyways... not me), the hole of the original place can be hidden with a black round sticker.
At first I thought you were playing an Arch Enemy song, the track is killer.
You can really make some cheap guitars sound so badass.
My thought was how pissed Arch Enemy must be that they can't write shit like this anymore.
*Sees video*
Oh, maybe a $150 metal guitar I can afford finally!

Burbund thanks, I’ll look into that. I love Floyd’s.
His new video covers a very nice metal guitar that costs about $200 US
I think what he means is that its cheap for the amount of specs that it has

Hey Colin, the shirt bring ya here?
I hate that as well, mostly when i have a whammy bar, just gets in the way.
What I'll do most of the time its ditch de tone and put the volume there, i dont mind the hole...
For me the volume knob being too close is a turn off since sometimes i pick really hard and hit my hand in to the knob constantly

One of your best tracks yet - That lead work should be forbidden!
Great work, Pete!
Thanks Glenn! :)
What are you doing here?
Nice halo infinite background lol
also, very arch enemy riffs there
Hugo Brezet my thoughts exactly
BIG Arch Enemy influence. I LOVE IT!!!
Pete’s index finger is so long, he can cover six strings with two knuckles. And me with little hobbit hands...
Loved the double-tracked crazy-legato stuff! Immense timing.
Also, "If you've got no volume, how you gonna melt faces?" Wise words.
I bought my first Harley Benton guitar some 10 years ago and still love it to this day.
But back in the day they used to suck so bad. I used to have a les paul type that never stayed in tune for longer than five minutes.
If Arch Enemy is hiring new guitarists, then they should give you a call!
I was about to say something like that ^^
@@yannleroux1005 me too lol If I had just heard this without seeing it I'd have asked if that was a new Arch Enemy tune.
Except they've recruited Jeff Loomis so...yeah...
To the bin goes my comment. Definitely some old school AE vibes there
@@TomTom-km6bo Yeah Jeff Loomis is probably one of the best guitar players ever.

Harley Benton obviously conform to the Ibanez standard of Naming guitars with Random Letter codes which are gibberish to most.
Nice track as always
Naw, ibanez is much worse. GD45u8jk55p7 has a hell of a ring to it. Now thats marketing

Yes, Bridge sounds very "Nemesis"y. Sounds great
This might be my favorite track you've done, those guitar melodies are so good.
