Tutorial to start planning and setting out fabrics for a textile art work inspired by gumtrees. Pt 1

Take a walk with me while we look at gumtrees and then head back to the studio to create a textile art work using our walk as inspiration.
This Part 1 video covers our walk and then choosing the fabrics and setting them out. We will look at what we want to achieve in fabric and thread to produce the textile artwork to reflect our impressions. This video will take you through my method from concept through to the initial tacking down ready for Part 2 which will cover embellishment and hand embroidery through to completion.
