Hell TJ. I’m encountering uncommanded pitch up on short final at about 200ft when I have disconnected the auto pilot in the 777. For context I am very familiar with flying the 737 in sim but new to 777. I am fully configured at this point and the Vref is set in the window with auto throttle ON. What could be the issue? People have told me that my Trim speed is too high, but all I did was set the approach speed which was already calculated. Most tutorials don’t even mention messing with trim, especially not that low. The aircraft itself does not feel out of trim. It’s just a sudden pitch up which is constantly leaving me high on Papis. I constantly have to violently push the nose down and correct the pitch in order to have a decent landing. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
I play on ultra settings at 1440p settings this cockpit is immaculate. I also have fenix. Both do a great job. i wouldn't say one is better than the other. Pmdg has fenix beat in one place and that's simulation rate. I can get this plane up to 16X and fenix limited to 2X. At least i hope fenix finds a way to make 4X possible. The 777 is a great product. Already done 3 flights very stable product very detailed. Well done!
@@tjpilot5913 I noticed it a couple of days after I got the new PC. At first it was a bit stuttery, Then I installed ksfo scenery and it was unflyable. I was scratching my head as the PC was well able to run that scenery. Saw the cache fix on a RUclips video. Deleted the whole cache and removed it totally and it’s been fantastic since
Hi, can anyone help me with GSX. For some reason whenever I use cargo the cargo loads on top of the cargo bay rather than on it, making the cargo look like it’s going into the roof of the cabin. Can anyone help?
@@tjpilot5913 I did a long haul test flight and it was a polar route and it fell to earth just hrs ltr 😂. This route I’ve done on p3d no issues many times before, but here it failed the test on msfs.
@@madhavmenon2545 there is a key binding to switch control mode on when you are in the drone camera. When you are in control mode, you can’t move the camera anymore
Navigrapgh provided instructions on. How to deal with this. Uninstall in navigraph and reinstall amd delete the contents of the navdata folder In the appdata/Microsoft flight simulator/ packages/pmdg77w/work/navdata....yours might be different because I have the steam version
I've always said that the cockpit textures is not so wow , those MCP black buttons look flat (like already pressed on ) + the cockpit sounds coming from p3d with high standards 😂
In terms of textures mate. I only mentioned textures in that regard. And I actually raised the question on the PMDG forum and they confirmed that they refrained from using higher textures in order to benefit performance.
The fenix is in fact actually better and the more complete product. But because of the hype people won't accept that and that's ok. Both are amazing to have!

I agree, the 777 is a fantastic airplane. I live it so far.

HI TJ, I have a I9 -14900k and also had those stutters. Once i deleted the shader cache, it has been stutter free. Hope this works for you.
Thanks mate for the hint. Do you also feel that it gets worse on longer flights? I don't think there is a way to delete the shaders mid flight..

@@awerty2409 Yes that's obvious but I only get the container loader and not the baggage loader as well.
Did u use the realistic gsx loading or the fast option
Not sure. I just triggered GSX the normal way. But I think its a bit accellerated

Does anyone get throttle issues? Especially at full where it will then will reduce to idle for no reason (AT is not on btw)

go to the camera tap, follow mode off, lock mode on, and position to wherever you want.
I had done it but how could you steer the plane in that cam? It’s nearly impossible to even extend aur retract flaps or landing gears when I try it??

yup, a walkaround is on the PMDG forums
You need to delete the nav data in the 777 airplane folder and reinstall the airac via navigraph. That worked for me

If your on PC just go get some mods if your on Xbox sadly you have to buy them 😢

Yeah I am also not a huge fan of some textures. But I asked PMDG and they said its due to performance reasons, which is a valid point I guess.

@@oscarpapa8 PMDG folks can't accept the fact that Fenix is the better product and cheaper too. PMDG is still great though.

I wanted to rotate, but underestimated how much input it needs on the yoke.
