Guys this is genius! Please do more stuff like this. It's so empowering to see girls my age making awesome things, being inventive and inspiring me and younger people to do the same. I never would have thought making a diy ring light would be possible let alone it being so easy and it's so awesome!
It went pretty great! I used a smaller piece of vinyl tubing with an actual connector and added suction cups to use this one for better makeup lighting
This was so awkward. I'm just getting the vibe that none of y'all even like each other. When you collab with other people let them talk or do something!!
This would be nice! The lighting where I live is dull, I can't apply makeup with the right colors because the light is so yellow. This could be usefull!

Thanks girls i made one of these and I love it. However, maybe let us know which side is the best side to cut on because if you cut it in the wrong place and try to place the shoe then you might run into a problem...but it was a easy fix... Thank for this video

I was wondering if you could film a video showing the ring light in full use... like is it truly possible to film a you tube video w this as your main light source? I know u showed an example.... but since u already had the real ring light on... it is hard to tell. I am also wondering if u can by the LED strip in a higher wattage???

A few questions popped into my mind such as (a) what happened to the rest of the LED strip, is it usable? and (b) where did you get the connection cord if it did not come from the LED strip? But great video and very informational! I am actually needing a ring line for my productions.

Have you guys tried using it in a dark setting without the lights on? How is it if you want to have lights off while filming? Does it still give a good quality look?
BeautyBliss101 no it doesnt especially not with two strips only. I have one i built myself n film my youtube videos with. I had to use two sets of the led lights even with that i feel i need to add extra cos its not as bright as the actuall ring light is but it does do the job considering i ordered a ring light it got in nd i blew up the transformer and im all the way in Ghana😩😩😩. So this definitely helps for a while.

Hey just so you guys know, I ordered the tubing that your link led to, but when I got it, it wasn't flexible tubing, it was really stiff and doesn't work for a ring light. Idk if they changed the product but I wanted to let you guys know.
