Please don’t apologize for the time you spend showing us these amazing photos and history. I love it! I was born and raised in Indianapolis. I grew up in Woodruff Place and graduated from Tech H.S. I have done some research about Woodruff Place but nothing like what you’ve done. It was like going back in time to when I was a kid. I love anything historical of the 1800’s-1900’s. I have some photos from then. I’ll go through them to see what all I have. I subscribed to your channel. I can’t wait to see other videos and visit your website.
excellent presentation. I've recently become interested in our history, not just in Indiana but all across America. The 1800s were a fascinating time with lots of incredible buildings and architecture
The information on the Pop Junemann's Embassy restaurant, Indianapolis, Indiana, circa 1930 was on the west side of Indianapolis not the east side On December 26, 1925, Proprietor Fred Junemann (1866-1934), a native of Germany, opened the restaurant at 2320 W. 16th Street, on the northwest corner of Lafayette Road

At 41:13, 2512 West 10th Street. When I was about 8 or nine I would go to this store and buy candy. I lived around the corner on Bellview.
