I'm getting Naoto Onishi vibes from this freestyle. So clean and chill. Very fun routine indeed, and well deserved!
He was the cut-off for finals which means he goes on the stage up first early. And won the championship , his first worlds ever and winning it.
He won the worlds title before even winning Korean national title , as well as being the first ever Korean world champion (4A is announced before 1A mostly)
Against all the odds, Gun Ju Eom came to Osaka and squeezed water out of the stones to win at this young age

I've been a fan of Gunju's style for a while now, and I couldn't be happier him to have this win! He defied all odds and got first place with one of the best routines of all time! It's especially impressive to me that he had a restart and still got first; even with mistakes he was the best! Congratulations Gunju you earned it!

I believe this may be the First time a non-Japan player has won a non 1a main division since I think 2015 when Jake Elliot won 5a just a neat little factoid, but still really good

Totally lost about the rules of 4A. Such performance is winner? How come Hajime was 7th place in 2019? The whole performance is not attractive and persuasive this year.
