After sampling, I enjoy Artemis, but I think you described one of the reasons I don't think it would be a full bottle for me. Posted this in the discord earlier, I feel like it has an identity issue. There are so many great naturals jammed in and I can tell that they're all very high quality, but they pull my nose in too many directions to get a solid grasp on what this fragrance is trying to be. I can appreciate a frag for being so complex that it wears differently every time, but at the same time, do I really want that? I think it's fantastically blended, but there's almost too much going on for my brain to be able to make sense of it, let alone categorize it. Could be an unrefined nose problem, who knows! But compared to some of Prakhar's other work I've experienced, this is an 8/10 rather than a 10/10.
Great review, as always, Ramsey. I scored a bottle of Artemis, as I really like the concept and was intrigued by the complex note breakdown. It's been three weeks since Prakhar shipped it, but haven't received it yet. Prakhar did tell me this one needs some air and to sit for some time to let it fully open up. Looking forward to getting my nose on this one!
☆Hiya Ram! This whole time after reading off that note roster...It made me imagine Artemis running feral through a forest. The top notes very violent feasting with the animalic funk, the her tearing through random herbs and flowers. Rubbing against shrubs to the point their oils are imparted as she breaks branches...The journey ends with hers crawling into your window and into bed, and there is leaves, in her wild hair and tatter torn garment remnants! Wild scent man...I can almost smell it. If the frag smells anything remotely like that-sign me up! Great impression as always, really succeeds on taking my imagination for a ride my friend. Hope you have a great holiday! I'm gonna brine and smoke a 25# bird w/ a combo of pecan/apple/and alder woods! Cheers to you and the entirety of the Ram Frag Fam too♡☆
Received my bottle last week. Number 41/60 funnily enough! Absolutely stunning creation. I appreciate the opening but absolutely adore hours 1-4...the herbaceous, mossy notes underpin everything perfectly! Another one to thank you for, I doubt I would have heard of Sherwood if it wasn't for you Ram🐏
Hey Ramsey! Just got mine delivered today and I am loving the initial spray. Can’t wait to let it sit for a month and if it gets even better… wow. Definitely one of my favorite pickups of the year. I appreciate the recommendation.
Cheers Rams , sounds solid , a little air and rest will produce it’s full potential as is my experience, not this particular fragrance as I have not grabbed a bottle but all other similar offerings with ouds and oils. Great review man 💪👊🤛
I only gave it one spray when I first received it and all I got was a wall of oud and ambergris. But I learned with Poseidon what a little air and rest does for these. I'm encouraged by your experience. I still want to see him come back to do more things like Gentleman and Inexplicable.
I liked it the best from his recent releases when he went upscale….this is perfumery at the highest level. It will Definitely evolve more as more air gets into the bottle as his previous releases have. Best value for money artisanal house out there….period.
Thanks for the video! I’m guessing Artemis is sold out now-definitely time for Prakhar to scale up to 100 bottles! 🔥🔥 Also, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this: what’s a fair price for a goldcap 100ml bottle of Guerlain Heritage? Would $200 be reasonable?
Hey Ramsey amazing video. How do you feel on those people that don’t judge fragrances based on the notes? Like you talked about the stereotype of people who judge frags based on one spray, what about those who refuse to talk about notes ?

I want to see what this wears like in 3 to 6 months with some air in the bottle
Interesting about that super fast transition of animalics. Usually those materials stick on me for days. Loved your take as always Ramster. 😎
Yes maybe they will open up and last longer as air gets in the bottle

So happy you love it like I do...and the odds of someone smelling like you when there are only 60 bottles for the whole world are effectively zero

Thanks so much Bren ... I think you are spot on ... gonna let it sit for a bit after today 🙂

Czar and paradise are the ones I love I don’t like when ones stray off too far such as what areej is doing so I’m hoping it gets back!!!
Yes with Sherwood air in the bottle is imperative...I will revisit in 3 months or so
@ yessir I understand hope it hits the mark

I think so...I paid about 120 or so many years ago...so that seems fair
If people asked me what the colour purple smells like, ROXO would be it.
It is so spot on with that purple smell
You have sell bottle Sherwood how price sir
I don't sell my perfume ... but if you gave me 100 grand I would accept... other wise not for sale 😂
Hello Ramsey. What are your thoughts on Elixir Attar House?
Never smelled them ever
Sorry

Well the notes are usually just guideposts... everyone smells with their own nose
