Sorry, Ramsey, about the loss of your Uncle Sam. Unfortunately, "sorry" means nothing. No words can help the pain. Feel sad. Cry. Laugh. You be you, whatever you need, moment by moment but most of all, stay awesome.
Thank you man... he was 72 but lived a full life... sometimes I talk about the personal stuff and sometimes I don't... tonight was one of those nights I just felt like I should
This collection is just fire. Simple but just good, because at least you know what you pay for. You want true ambergris, you get Al Ambar. Lovely review, Ramsey! btw, i uploaded a vid on Fate Man myself, you convinced me to give that one a try and i m just amazed.
First of all: RIP to Uncle Sam! Second: As a person that works in media and works a lot with RUclips, i think 11k subscribers is one hell of an achievement. Especially when you consider, that all of these subscribers came organically, without advertisments, crosspromo etc. This is a true valuable community! Congrats Ramsey, i truly respect your grind! Third: Al Ambar is great, there is just a halitosis note to me nose that really made it hard for me to really love it. It is a similiar halitosis note i experienced in Mouchoir de Monsieur. Just way more intense. Cheers Ram!
☆May the warmth of the Ram's Frag Fam serve as a salve for you and those you care for in this time of need. I think it's more than obvious, you are a gift to this community Ram♡♡♡♡☆ Thanx for your unique capacity to unpack this complex creation. BTW: Got TF's Black Laquer, its pretty nice, safe, but does have a certain magnetic nose-draw. Also got Argos' Charon's Vail. Really beautiful rose that envelopes deep and a not too smokey labdinum, patchouli, sandalwood, and suade-y saffron. Both scents, very powerful. Ew, ew, heard murmurings that F. Kirk... has messed with Dior Homme Pafum, and its slated to come out 2025. Much luv an respect to the Ram & the whole (11,000+) Frag. Fam♡♡♡♡
Sounds like a good one to reflect with. I had a great Uncle Sam i was lucky to get to know. Lots of storys and great memories. My condolences. I watched the release video of these. The presentation Adam did was fantastic. The way you have described them is similiar to the images. So it's as expected from me. I'd be excited to try these. With this one currently being my most interesting. I'm trying to better understand ambergris. Looking forward to the sandal one. Have to know people to get good sandal oil these days. Great smelling sandalwood oil was abundant 30 years ago. Pretty much disappeared 10 years ago. So i would love to smell them all. In Adam's video for the oud they looked like they just got done smoking a hookah with a camel in the desert. They were having a smile and laugh with the camel. I will check out that encrens one. I wanted to get it anyway just because the incense.
Thanks for sharing...my uncle Sam was a jovial larger than life personality ...owned a boat and bar and other things...again like you said lots of stories and lots of memories
I found it interesting due to definitions interplay - ambery ambergris, and I got a decant of it mainly due to the fact that I've been struggling with trying to dissect ambergris out of compositions, and now that I've finally managed to do so, I do prefer Spell 125 over this and Atlantic Ambergris II, since the later does lean mostly to a christmas cookie direction to me(too many spices), while Spell 125 gives so much life and air and layers. I'm glad that I've tried it nonetheless. Cuirtis is still the one of his creations I was most impressed with.
OMG ..was so happy to hear about Baykal Lake, Ramsey 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ I live in Irkutsk just near the Great Baykal..sounds like you've been here ? If not ,pls come over one day...🙏🏻🙏🏻 the nature and Russian forest you were talking abt is exactly like that ..sure you will adore it ❄️☀️🙏🏻 Rest in Peace ,uncle Sam ...🙏🏻❤
Cheers Rams, condolences for the loss of Uncle Sam , I believe it’s his ring you proudly wear , a wonderful constant presence of him , great vid and I completely forgot about Spell 125 lol now it’s out there , yep totally see it , catch ya on the Areej ranking of course 11 k is a triumph and Al Sandal will be a great vid 👊🤜💪
After getting and smelling Al Ambar, I can fairly say Jubilation 40 Man from Amouage contain high dose of real ambergris like the one used in Al Ambar and it’s perfectly blend with Oud (probably Cambodian Oud).
@@RamseytheRam oh I don’t know if anyone is interested on getting Al Ambar, but I can provide at very good price because it’s redundant to Jubilation 40 Man at my nose to some extent (the prominent animalic part excluded).
@@RamseytheRam and I will add that this fragrance Al Ambar induce you with such smallness feeling and nothingness feeling that you look like you are reborn. I don’t know if it’s a good or bad feeling but just as you experience, that’s how I feel too. I have other bottles of Al Ambar if anyone in France or elsewhere is interested just let me know.
You didn’t really mention how it compares to Crème De La Crème(his other newest ambergris scent)? Any similarities to that, or are they quite different?
Creme de la Creme was different because it had both oud and Indian Sandalwood with florals like Ylang & Rose water, AL Ambar is more geared to just focusing on the Ambergris
Rest in peace to your Uncle Sam, my condolences to you and your loved ones at this time. Take all the time you need for yourself. Looking forward to the family portrait when you're ready to film it.
My condolences ram. I had high hopes for this one, but it's s a hard pass... I picked up on something giving off an almost synthetic plastic note I couldn't get past, in my sample.

That ring was actually from my other uncle who passed uncle Thor ...but both are missed 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks so much for your work and for sharing your knowledge. One quick question: is this an animalic fragrance?
Yes I would say Ambergris is an animalic note
My condolences Ramsey!
Thank you for the kind words
My favourite from the Arabian Heritage 🤩
It's a great example of Ambergris 🐳
@@RamseytheRamram in comparison ambrosia from Sherwood or this one from Areej? My condolences to your uncle brother 🙏🏾

Condolences Ram 🙏 I hope my comment under al'oud wasn't too outlandish 😅
Not at all....thanks for waiting & commenting
Condolences Ramsey. I want to ask how does it compare with Ambere Supreme?
Ambre Supreme is much lighter and airy... this has those darker facets to it Adam likes to play with

Much obliged 🙏
Ramsey have you tried Koh-i-noor?
Unfortunately not 😒
@ man that one isn’t talked about much. There’s somebody selling 2mLs of it on Mercari for $40 but then end up paying $50 with fees.
@@ertugrulbamsi1943 I would love to smell it one day 🐽
Condolences Ramsey 🙏

What are you Talking about. I tested papillon its smells terrible!
To each their own... probably one of my favorite brands of all time
@ i cant believe that, because your channel is full of creed, roja and other stuff!
My channel is also full of Areej Le Dore, Sherwood, Ensar Oud, Sultan Pasha & vintage animalic fragrances like Antaeus
What's your point?
My condolences ram.
