It's funny he thought Gucci Guilty Elixir was a JPG because the perfumer who did GGE has also worked for JPG (Quintin Bisch) and it is blatantly obvious they took the Vintage Le Male dry down and said "what would this smell like if we took out the mint, amped up the orange blossom and added orris?" The vintage Le Male drydown was INCREDIBLE and powdery just like the opening of Gucci Guilty Elixir. I bought the GGE smelt It fell in love IMMEDIATELY BOUGHT A BACK UP BOTTLE! Then I realized hey the opening smells like Vintage Le Male Dry down... let me layer the current formulation of Le Male maybe I'll have the Holy Grail Le Male back .... I got non stop compliments from every female at work. One female worker tracked me down from a totally different department to ask me what I was wearing. Surprised know one has pointed this out or came up with this layering combo... Guess the cat is out of the bag now. Also I own Fleur du Male and Le Beau Male both awesome JPG frags
I've always thought that Gucci Guilty Elixir smells like play doh too, except I think it smells more like Pegasus/Craze than Reflection and I really don't like it at all.
Enjoyed watching Dan. He did a great job. On a side note, what happened to the fragrance apprentice, his name escapes me at the moment. Haven't seen anything by him in a long time.
Boss Absolu is my least favorite fragrance from Hugo Boss (not including the cheap ones, i don't even count them in). I would take the original Bottled etd, the edp, Parfum, Elixir, Triumph Elixir, ANY of the scent line any day over that one
The problem is that people think Niche are better... Nope and honestly the Houses with Big History are Dior, Hermes,Channel etch etch and also they have perfumes that are Masterpieces and last in Time . Xerjoff , PDM and most of Nich are Newbie Houses with no History . Lets see what happens after 100 Years and if they worth this Hype ... ( I am not talking about Guerlain or Creed )
Chances are you're not gonna live 100 years to see what happens. Besides, houses like Amouage (prior to Mr. Solomon's), Nishane, tSoD, and artists like Alessandro Gaultieri, Francesca Bianchi, David Slivinschi, Spyros Drosopoulos, Lorenzo Pazzaglia, they all make enough interesting fragrances to render mainstream designer like Dior, Channel and Hermes uninteresting, washed, boring 😊
I think it is funny that he is wearing a Boss hoodie but didn’t seem to care about Boss fragrances. I was not impressed with Bottled Absolu when I got my nose on it - the Elixir, in my opinion, is more intriguing.
I don’t know who the grumpy gentleman is but he has a great nose and great taste! Bring him on more often please
His nose is so good he spoils my games. Now I’m grumpy 😠 🤣
The guy is Dan Rotschild 🙌🏼
🤢🤢🤮🤮
Lmaooo Dan wanted to tear into ATH but held himself back - that knowing look that he did to the camera.

Loved this! Even with all the toned down grumpiness ❤
Thanks Chris and Dan.
Great video! The gentleman really knows his stuff.
I’ve been wearing Boss Bottled Elixir ever since fall started and can’t put it down!
Original Santal is a dupe of Montblanc Individual and there are no big differences.
Gucci Elixir is something i didnt expect to be so good , thats for sure.
Thanks gents. Arezzo is a great one.
1 million oud gets me the craziest compliments, and I definitely didn’t like the original either. Great video!

Great video Chris and Dan. He is a grump, we see it every day 😂 but he's alright really.

@jasongarbett2527 Thanks.
Dan & Chris what a great combo 😅
Surprised he didn’t get original santal. It would’ve had to be that, individual, or Joop Homme. Think those are the only 3 from that specific family?
Dan is my favourite. 😊
😂😂 I absolutely love Dan.
🙏🏼
Agreed
This guy gives me “grumpy fragrance brand owner” vibes, but I can’t quite put my finger on why.

Lol the 1 million was really bothering himhe couldn't resist any longer 😂😂
It really was.
@@Fragrance_weirdoonly when you found it that it’s one million! I can’t stand perfume snobs!
@@huh.justaboxwell we won’t get along then ❤
Lol grumpy man is pretty good!
He said I dont know about Hugo Boss fragrances but wears Boss shirt😂
Guy is a wanker
Came to the comments for this exact comment 😂
Boss has great clothes but scents are awfully bad, with exception of the never ones.
@@MorowingerTotally agree 🤝
Rumour has it Dan uses HJ to spray his boxer shorts
I can confirm it’s true.
This grumpy dude is a beast lol

Nonetheless, I also consider Xerjoff and PDM to be money grabbers with not much creativity.
I don't have to live 100 years. Others did before me... This is Legacy. This is what we call House Respect and History. ;) 😁
@@andrei-cosmin.popa85 I am not saying Niche are bad , I am.saying that most people do not respect designers
ATH new colab. with Gucci?
What happened to smoulder 2.0?
Still in the pipeline! Hopefully next year 🤞🏻

RIP BFL.
95% of designer frags are 😴 niche all the way!
This is trash 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good point
I adore Tom Ford fragrances but don’t own a single garment from the brand.
@@FRAGMENTALto be fair though Boss clothing comes in a lot cheaper than TF
Percival a clone of Fierce
Didn’t known ATH did Guilty by Gucci 🫠
Oopsie
Where did you hear that? In the video?
