Spacers will be alright just keep them tight! Looking dope man! I am hyped to see what you come up with! This thing is gonna be cool! Come drift with me! Or at least come ride along!
A-legg-a-Rita Spacers are fine. What you’ll want to do is run longer studs and pull the wheel into the spacer. Torquing the nuts becomes that much more crucial but I’ve ran spacers on many cars including purple haze without issue for years.
Keep up the great work guys.First change the offset to a 87 and a spacer and a 1”spacer in the rear and you should fill in the gap. And please put your guys phone on vibrate or silence when you guys are recording. I’m working on the brake lines for the mini reds and will let you guys know what to do.Also are the wheels you are showing us only a 10inch rear wheel.
We have decided we are definitely going late offset. Will be interesting to see late offset +2” spacer and the OZ wheels. Also considered the same setup with Fuchs and Turbo brakes instead of mini reds. Definitely let us know what you find on brake lines! Will do on the phone, blame that one on Zach lol
What you could do is use custom steelies, like from diamondracing which would be pretty cheap at less than 150$ a wheel. finding tires that fit wide 15" or 16" wheels can be a little hard, but do-able!
I have the same problem except I’m trying to run my avant- grades i got for an ls400 into my 944 😂 thinking of redrilling them love the Channel tho! Awesome work
A great resource for all Porsche wheels/knowledge and fitment is "Wheel Enhancement" in CA (near LAX). They fit 20" HRE's & Techart springs on my CS 987.2. Call just to pick their brains.
I'm no expert, but you could try a hub adapter from 5x130 to 5x120 and get some Apex Race Parts wheels. They're lightweight, track proven, have great designs. It doesn't stop there, there's a sale on right now too. Looks like the widest they make is a 10.5 from 17inch-19inch in diameter. Also, you can play around with "willtheyfit.com" to where you can tinker with sizing until you find what you think may work. That's what I did with my '06 Cayman to run 18x10's squared. love the 944 vids
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. Mick.
Michael Kane thanks Mick, you too buddy!

I’m always ready for a ride along! This is gonna have way too much grip and not nearly enough power to be sliding around hahaha
@@BoostBrothersGarage I’m I’ll
The rep wheels are not GT2, they are from a 996 911. Oops!

Thanks Thomas! Guess I butchered that pronunciation huh? Hahaha

I was more casting my vote! 😁
Thinking the OZ and switching to late offset will be close, we’ll find out soon!
Where’d you get those rear brakes? Best advice for updating stock brakes and do you know if I need bigger than 15 inch wheels with bigger brakes?

Thanks!!! Good luck, we know how much of a pain it is so wishing you the best!
Also, look up billet specialties wheels, they make custom stuff in custom sizes. Not the CHEAPEST but not like work prices!
Will do, thanks man!

Awesome, thanks a bunch! The 18x11 +25 EC-7 could be a great option! I’d prefer to run a square setup as well, especially for track use. Thanks again!
Boost Brothers Garage No problem guys, hope you’re able to find something you’ll love and can use!
