Chris Tucker came into the hotel I work at 2 years ago and he was so damn nice. I was standing by the front desk and he took a step towards me and was like “my man, where can I get a good margarita right now?” And I recommended a spot down the street and then we small talked for a minute and he just seemed so happy and grateful and full of life, then he dabbed me up. Made my week. Legend.

I like Chris Tucker as well as an actor. I think he went through a mental health crisis like Dave Chapelle did after making a tons of money on RUSH HOUR which caused him stress and anxiety do to surrounding himself with the wrong people that lead to Drugs or alcohol addiction for a bit. I am glad that he returned to film in SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK. Since then he has been taking on smaller supportive roles.

There was a reason why he was close to Michael Jackson; Michael was meek, genuine, kind, generous, authentic, tender, fun in a mischievous childlike way--a childlike manner that is rare to find in adults, but scripture tells us to be childlike and meek. Chris loves people, loves to make them laugh, loves to make them feel comfortable and helps them to let down their guard and be vulnerable and real; people are drawn to that. He does have a presence of kindness and genuineness too. All the fame and glory didn't devour him. He's making good choices and I bet he's seen a lot of crap we don't even know in the celebrity realm, but I feel like he's keeping his integrity for the most part. He's versatile in the movies, so he can do funny or serious. Talent is icing on the cake for his all around charm, wit, and sweetness.

I was Chris's first platonic female friend (believe me or don't; Chris knows it's true - and his dad was thoroughly confused lol) before he was famous (we met in 1993), and we had SO much fun together in L.A. We'd almost get kicked out of movie theaters for having popcorn fights, he'd come to my parents' house to go jogging with me multiple times a week, and I was his "date" for Hollywood stuff after his career started to take off (because I grew up in and around the industry, so he knew I wouldn't embarrass him by "fangirling" on anybody - nor think that my being his +1 meant that I thought I'd eventually be Mrs. Tucker lol.) There are SO many fun stories I could tell, but nothing will ever beat when he took me to Neverland for 5 days in 2002 (where I got to see MJ be a regular dad). I was a writer by then, and we called ourselves "working" to get some of his ideas down on paper. In what should be surprise to absolutely NO ONE, we didn't get much done. I wrote that whole surreal experience down (in 10 chapters). If anyone wants to read it, let me know in the replies.
