Since you moved to NYC, your personality has only refined and your style has refined with it. Just way better combinations now and your taste is much more intuitive. Very inspiring 🙏🏽
Hey Drew, just wanted to say I really appreciate your approach to personal style. A lot of communities online I find sorta gatekeep personal style by deriding anything they disapprove of (especially in menswear communities), but your videos have always been a safe haven for nonjudgmental, unadulterated appreciation of clothing and fashion in all forms, and I think that's sick. At the end of the day we just love clothes and love people doing creative things with them, and I'm glad there are people out there with such an uplifting approach to that. Thanks for doing what you do, keep up the good work!
Lifelong NYer, went out to LA for college but came back for the non-car dependent metropolis. As corny as some people find it, one of the best things about NYC is the diversity. Actually such a huge mesh of different peoples and cultures. If you want a quiet place to settle down, NYC isn’t it. But if you want to experience one of the most exciting and liberating cultural hubs of the world, this place is it. There’s so much to do here that it motivates you to go out and explore and experience. You can do ANYTHING here but you certainly can’t do everything, and I think that’s what makes it so exciting. This is my first time commenting but I’ve been a long time viewer since you were in Denver, and I’m glad to hear you’re loving the city. Keep it up🔥
Your outfits are very thought out and refined, and look like they are not styled for fashion but for your personal preferences. I find these videos very inspiring, even though I am a woman. I like adding menswear pieces to my outfits. I am looking forward to wearing my menswear jackets and leather jackets this fall.
i was born in NYC and moved to ottawa CA at 4 years old... I miss home (New York) so much even though ive gone back so many times. My passion for clothes is in my manhattan blood. Love your content man
My recent bout with health issues really tested my fifth year staying in NYC. It was all adding up to be too much -- my fear of going outside, the cost of rent and health care. But all my friends are here. My girlfriend (another Lauren) and her family are here. All the places I discovered myself at during college. There's no place I'd rather be at the moment. Cheers, Drew :)
To answer your question if you've changed or not since moving to NYC. You seem happier, the kind of happier that one becomes once when you're around more like minded people, or the ceiling on your limits was lifted, it that makes sense.
English is so dope Fall , cause the leaves fall from the trees, is like an ancient language made for people who don’t understand eachother. Favourite words are Ring finger, sidewalk, ladybug …
Dude these are the most complete, dynamic, visually striking outfits I’ve ever seen from you and you’ve had tons of good ones, style evolution is in full force I’m fuckin lovin this look book dude
The bonus outfit is fire, I would say you need some extra color on the bottoms to balance out the outfit. You did something super unique and cool on top, and if you tried some pants with a stronger color (likely still a neutral tone) it would make the whole thing come together. Awesome video!
Since you moved to NYC your style has gotten more and more creative, but still grounded. Everything you wear looks great but that basketball jacket was so fire! I grew up in NYC lol and I love it but I'm not one of those NYers who think it's the only place in the world. I'm so happy you are enjoying it here! One of my New Years goals was to visit every borough, you should do the same!
I freakin love outfits 2 and 7 since I have a bias for bold color layering! But for the finale fit, u either gotta loose the green layer or zip it all the way up since white and green are fighting eachother for attention
Outfit 7 is unreal. feels both very familiar but also extremely new and interesting. high and low culture, dressy and casual... its a 10. That baggy blazer looks amazing, but it seems like something that would be hard to pull off
Lordy, your fashion glow-up in NYC is epic! If I were a man (hell, even as a woman), I would wear all your fits. Well, except the last experimental styling. The tie can be worn without a collar shirt but needs to be tied differently, like a scarf that's you sweep around several times until it's short. Work it out :D
you mentioned it slightly, but i think your style and personality have really been able to shine since moving to New York. its a real thing of bigger cities and being able to freely express yourself. you've clearly had this style in you and it reflected in your fits before but now its just elevated. Besides New York tho, I think Japan had a real impact on your style. My trip to Japan was where I really really started to understand what fashion is and what it can do for you on a daily basis.
feel like outfit 6 is one of those that would look pretty basic without any accessories which is a reminder of their importance feel like you’ve definitely matured in style and content creation in the past year. as a 35 year old i’ll also say your 30s will just be your 20s but (hopefully) elevated. happy birthday to you both in advance!
Love look number 3. Look 5 was ultra-chic. Likewise, the beige jacket and jeans is tres sophisticated. 27 is nothing. You are on your way, embrace everything. And, yes, New York is fab. I enjoyed the energy rising up from the pavements.
You are fly bro outfit 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 are dope!!! Not a huge dr matian fan since HS but idk might have to cop a pair. That denim on denim look (think look 9) WAS HEAT. I use to always get teased as a kid because I use to have the PEPE OR SEAN JOHN jean sets in different tones and I would mix and match them because I've always been into mixing denims. I didn't care but look at how fashion has evolved now!! Happy birthday bro. More life. Your 20's is a time that you should cherish, but your 30's is a time of truly living (JUST TURNED 32). Trust!! keep it up bro. Definitely inspiring my fashion style as a artist as of lately.
Drew, You have truly inspired me with all of your content. It’s been clear that you’re a hardworking man at this game. Loving every single fit in this video. I’m ordering some Dr. Martin loafers tonight because of you!! Keep it up my man.
Drew you are still authentic like in the videos from 3 years ago. You give off a super relaxed vibe and I must say, I've started taking better care of my clothes thanks to your content. Keep it up, congratulations on your first year in NY!
Man!!! Fire video and great fall outfit ideas. When it comes to your question about living in NYC, I was born and raised NYC (Brooklyn all day!). I actually left NYC about 8 years ago. I was 31 years old at the time, married with a 3 year-old daughter, so I was at a stage of my life where I was over the business of NYC. Living overseas for a few years and some states in the south gave me an appreciation for the quite that the suburbs provide. I met so many people that are excited to now live in NYC, and so many people like me that left the city for the quite suburbs...what can I say? I guess "The grass is greener on the other side of the fence" sometimes...You are such a mature guy that I forget how young you are bro. My advice, do it up and enjoy living in the city as much as possible. Been around a few places on earth, and no place like New York City for sure. 🥋😊🙏🏽
For the bonus outfit, love the idea but break up the bottom. Add a solid belt and/or change up the white pants. The white is wayyyyy to bold. Cause the top feels top heavy, maybe a bottom with a high cuff too to add texture. 10/10 love your vids, Drew!
number 7 looks nice. also i lived in nyc for about 5 years ish. its definetly a place for content creators 100% but i think overall nothing wrong with living there long term. you should check out RRL and the polo store in NYC. definitely a more complete style for reference
With the all black/detective fit I actually think is very good. I would just lose the hat or replace it with a black cap (prolly biased cuz I love a good baseball cap).
FIRE outfits, your style has gotten better and better with each upload - from Denver to NYC, please keep cookin!! (PVV: got some new kicks I’m stoked to wear) 🐐😎
Hey man just picked up a pair of Adrien Loafers in dark brown the other day, so awesome to get inspired by your different ways of styling them. Also I love your playfulness and freedom you express in your videos!
Ngl the fourth outfit reminded me of Fillmore (Cornelius C. Fillmore), from that one detective cartoon show. I have a vague memory of that character wearing a similar hat with his glasses on as a kid. So that outfit is fire as hell 🎉🎉
For outfit #4 already great outfit but to elevate it maybe some cowboy boots but other than that love the outfit as is. Outfit #7 might be my fav tho. Bonus fit for the tie maybe wearing more loose like someone who just got off of work would look best. Love all your videos
It does feel as you just moved to nyc yesterday. I believe your style (both fashion and video creating wise) have changed a bit, but I can’t put my finger on it. Really like the way it’s going!
Every fit is insane but one note for the bonus outfit would just be the jogger closure w the docs I find a little strange. Personal opinion, but love the fit other wise and the rest!
Hi 👋 im viewing from New Zealand. I have always had an interest in fashion. I'm in my sixties in age. I like all of your garments , and you have created your own individual style. I like the Doc Martens loafers , especially the brown ones. Very cool looks young man. From Carl.
you lowkey put that tie fit on not gonna lie. I've seen a good amount of my friends do it and it is a really unique and interesting look. You should play around with it more. You'll really like the things you can create with it. Also for me, I can't wait to rock some vintage jackets this fall. I have this nice levi's jacket I just figured out how to style. Also, I'm looking forward to styling a lot of button up cardigans this fall.
we can see how hard working you are Drew! your content is so cool and comforting to someone like me who dreams of wearing all the creative outfits in my mind, but not necessarily in a suitable location to wear them! hopefully one day i will be able to be as cool as you in a city that accomadates dressing to my own style obsessed with all your headwear btw!
Just discovered your channel👌🏽 love the style and the vibe Visited NYC a couple of time. Really liked it. But I’m bias to my home Montreal. Its Only 1 hr flight away so it the best of 2 worlds. Thanks for the vid💥
I wouldn’t move to NYC just for its pace alone everything is always moving which makes it nyc the only place I feel like it’s hard to live there but fun to visit is Vegas
Fun to see you experiment with the fits and unique pieces! Although few things like some of the hats aren't my thing, I see the vision and respect it 🤝🏻 #pvv I'm sooo excited to wear my Visvim 7 eye '73 folk boots I just bought! Too excited 😂
Since you moved to NYC, your personality has only refined and your style has refined with it. Just way better combinations now and your taste is much more intuitive. Very inspiring 🙏🏽
Ny make a mf look gender fluid ngl.
Love that yellow/gold jacket - the lil pins really add to it too
Thank you!!
5:03 "inclined" is probably the word you were looking for brother. Great fits and thanks for the inspo!

4:10 outfit 5
7:25 outfit 8 the beige + blue combo and the hat looks very comfy
8 is so fire and i normally don't like lighter colored fits
7 was such a solid fit. really works for you imo
The variety of textures in the kisluxs pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
Your outfits are very thought out and refined, and look like they are not styled for fashion but for your personal preferences. I find these videos very inspiring, even though I am a woman. I miss NYC in the late 90s , energy and grit!
i was born in NYC and moved to ottawa CA at 4 years old... I miss home (New York) so much even though ive gone back so many times. My passion for clothes is in my manhattan blood. Love your content man

Killing it with these fits, so much variation but everything works!

English is so dope
Fall , cause the leaves fall from the trees, is like an ancient language made for people who don’t understand eachother.
Favourite words are
Ring finger, sidewalk, ladybug …
Autumn, Path, Ladybird
my favorite words right now are: immaculate, infatuated
@@kwamebeni pavement
i like the words "boobs" and "honkers" and "milkers"
dont forget waterfall, driveway (and its nefarious pairing with parkway)
Dude these are the most complete, dynamic, visually striking outfits I’ve ever seen from you and you’ve had tons of good ones, style evolution is in full force I’m fuckin lovin this look book dude
Music choice in this video is perfect.

Watching your video is like eating a treat. The music, the lightning, the smooth voice over. Thanks for creating this. Have a great day.

If I could wear 1 outfit from the list for the rest of my life. It'll be No. 5. Clean, versatile and timeless; Impeccably impeccable.
feel like outfit 6 is one of those that would look pretty basic without any accessories which is a reminder of their importance

Bonus fit was one of my favs tbh
Since you moved the videos have gotten so better and feel more like a deep breathe and a reflection that before
Since you moved I think your style has improved and matured and also the content is much more professional and stylish
Drew, You have truly inspired me with all of your content. It’s been clear that you’re a hardworking man at this game. Loving every single fit in this video. I’m ordering some Dr. Martin loafers tonight because of you!! Keep it up my man.
First off, happy birthday! Second, the tie w/o button down is giving an elevated plain white t’s, 2008-2009 vibe.
Drew you are still authentic like in the videos from 3 years ago. You give off a super relaxed vibe and I must say, I've started taking better care of my clothes thanks to your content. Keep it up, congratulations on your first year in NY!

Really love the layers and textures in the last outfit. Just personally would have done it with a white button down collared shirt instead
For the bonus outfit, love the idea but break up the bottom. Add a solid belt and/or change up the white pants. The white is wayyyyy to bold. Cause the top feels top heavy, maybe a bottom with a high cuff too to add texture. 10/10 love your vids, Drew!

Fit 11 would fit right in with aime leon dor fall 2024 look book. I love it.
Bro, outfit #4 is SICK, frfr
Def a dr Martens sponsorship x)
The Drewyork jacket is sick
Yo the asymmetrical jacket bangs, and you straight up been polishing your style over time.
I was visiting Denver this weekend and visited Blue in Green and Common Spaces, great places thanks for recs.
Thanks for the video! I think your bonus outfit would look better replacing that with an ascot
fit 8 is crazy. love it
The music hittin on this one Drew Drew
These fits are really IT bro. That black leather jacket fit is INSANE. 🔥
Your style is so much better now bro I love seeing the evolution
Did Dr. Martens sponsor this video?
that MUSTARD in look 2 will be my go to this fall 🍂🍁
Drew York City fit goes crazy, evokes going to the park with blue skies overhead.
With the all black/detective fit I actually think is very good. I would just lose the hat or replace it with a black cap (prolly biased cuz I love a good baseball cap).
Outfit 10 is so fire
I have my eye on wythe, kith, naked and famous, and buck mason this season! Very pumped to wear pieces from those collections.
Love the black leather jacket!
Fits are 🔥, the only thing that i feel is missing is just a cool watch
1:00 ong bro summer fits are just shirts and shorts cuz its so hot
8 is the most underrated outfit 🔥🔥
Personally, I think you need a collar to wear a tie. Just feels like its just floating. I'd use a bandna or a silk scarf.
FIRE outfits, your style has gotten better and better with each upload - from Denver to NYC, please keep cookin!! (PVV: got some new kicks I’m stoked to wear) 🐐😎

I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!

It does feel as you just moved to nyc yesterday. I believe your style (both fashion and video creating wise) have changed a bit, but I can’t put my finger on it. Really like the way it’s going!

i think cardigans are going to have a moment this year. i’ve been buying them up for a while

I’m so in love with the Nigel cabourn pants in the 7th outfit!! I neeeeed
I love how your pants perfectly cover and complement adrian loafers, THEY SIT SO WELL 😮💨
Fit number 8 is just mwouah🤌
You are literally my biggest fashion influencer 🎉
1 and 9 are🔥🤝
My guyyyyyyyyy!!!!! Your style has definitely changed; but style is ever changing. Have a blast in Zürich
#5 looks soooo good
That embroider spider shirt looks awesome
Outfit #4 was chefs kiss 🔥. Though it definitely gives of The Matrix vibes more than detective imo 😅
we can see how hard working you are Drew! your content is so cool and comforting to someone like me who dreams of wearing all the creative outfits in my mind, but not necessarily in a suitable location to wear them! hopefully one day i will be able to be as cool as you in a city that accomadates dressing to my own style

Outfit number 5 is my uniform.... clean but still let you know I love poetry and hip-hop
I just loveeeee fit number 5 on you, it’s perfect 👍
Number 5 and 8 if fire man! I would lived in NY for sure, greetings from Colombia.
Congrats for first year 🎉 I think your bit more laid back in a great way. More comfortable in your environment perhaps 🤔
Pvv gang 👊🏼 cannot wait to wear more boots and more jackets as well!
Bonus fit is great, but I think I'd go for black pants
I visited NY for the first time during the summer and YES I would live there. I loved it so much I cried on the last day I was there hah
fall in NYC is GOATed - can't wait
Love the NYC introspection. Great move for ya!
Drew York City is a banger😂
There’s so much change of vibes between your outfits some of them look like costumes or cosplay
I could imagine living in NY.
I am exited to wear some kind of coats and ties
As a native, I see the way you look at New York with respect. I think a lot of transplants try to subject their views and opinions onto others.
Just discovered your channel👌🏽 love the style and the vibe
Visited NYC a couple of time. Really liked it. But I’m bias to my home Montreal.
Its Only 1 hr flight away so it the best of 2 worlds.
