You're the only one I've seen that responds to this topic with integrity and knowledge. I appreciate that you call out the intellectual property issue that many people don't care to bring up. May I add that I find it very unintellectual that these people would justify supporting the fake industry (which remains in the dark and not investigated by the country they make the fakes in) because of the Dior scandal (which actually got investigated and brought to light by the Italian laws). And yes to wealthy people not going to the same places the Walmart Birkin people would go to and that we can tell it's fake lol we're just polite about it
My sister has multiple Birkins and they’re heavy and bulky. I have my $9 fuzzy Aldi bag. And no, I’m not poor at all. I’m from a very wealthy family. They all wear Hermes so it’s just random to me

You can't get a Birkin let lone afford one, so why not pick brands with good quality that you can support instead of buying fakes from China. This guy is acting like a baller and acting like the people that bought the Wirkin give a F about Hermès, and Hermès as a brand. I dreamed of owning a Cartier love bangle bracelet in 18k white gold... Low and behold, I bought myself a 316L Chinese replica..... I wore the bracelet day and night for months. Then, I got bored of it and tossed it on my fantasy jewelry pile. Once the allure is over is over it is the same with the truly rich. They buy the real thing and treat it as disposable it is only the "poor" (middle and upper middle class) that baby, restore, and treat designer brands as being valuable. The truly rich... Wear it, and toss it out when it wears out, and the allure is over it is the "poor" that value and care about brands to the rich.... Just a disposable item to be replaced yhe minute it wears out, or they get bored of it... It is just the poor that think of "passing it on" to theor kids. The rich pass on to their kids stocks, and trust funds not designer bags.

However just because I can afford a Rolex do I have to buy one??? 🤷🏾 I bought a used Rolex for 7k! And best believe as a minimalist with money 😂 I DONT need another and I didn't buy it i honestly don't care! People barely know the watch when I wear it AND all the complement are from old men. Lastly a lot of wealthy people I know specifically men BUY fake replica watches!!
