I bought the Scott Henderson version when it cam out and I have to say that this is probably my favorite pedal I have ever owned. I will NEVER be taking this off my board because I have never played another pedal that can enhance the base tone of your guitar and amp like this one does. also the way xotic does tone controls is my favorite
Sweetest boost pedal out there. I run this in front of a Wampler Tumnus....which basically gives me 6 flavors of OD tone: 1. amp 2. Tumnus only 3. Xotic Gain One 4. Xotic Gain one and two 5 Xotic one driving Tumnus pedal. 6. Xotic gain one and two driving Tumnus pedall. Simpler to use than it sounds....live you just stomp on the RC until you get the level of gain desired!
Like mine so much but not as a booster (doesn’t work well with my drives) instead i use it at the very end of my signal chain as a global EQ, and the second boost stage serves as a volume/harmonic boost for solos.
I Can't imagine a V3 with In/Out + Send/Return. Gain 1 attack the preamp and Gain 2 (used juste like here or in the FX Loop amp for level up the sound for Lead or etc...
So, the gain 1 is the same of the original RC? Or this new pedal is also a new project? This one in particular has the same features/aspects of SH's, or is it a standard version? Thank you!
I received today my new Xotic RC Booster - V2. It is inspired on the SH model. Can you tell what's the difference between these 2 boosters? At first sight it seems they operate the same way. Am I missing something, except design matters?
I asked to Xotic, and the "V2" is the Scott Henderson pedal, the exact pedal, but with different external layout and graphics. This is the Scott Henderson pedal, but not signature.
What brittle sonics from a brand like Xotic. Poor fundamentals relative to harmonics, smeared transient attack within lower mids, overall lacking in detail and resolution. Everything but smooth, transparent and balanced.
Great phrasing! Nicely done.

Me too. I bought two SH Limited pedals.. a true masterpiece.
That is some killer guitar playing, by the way.
Awsome playing and tone.

awesome demo!
I have the v1 & _love_ it :) Thanks for making such great pedals.
Xotic best brand!!
Uuuufffff great sounding unit

Great player
Wow! Who play the guitar demo for this video? Great player!

Should I get the Scott Henderson now or wait for this one?
Is this running into a Marshall? There are some very Dumbly elements in the way the combined channels compress and sound in the upper mids.

I'd like to know this as well, Xotic!
will they have a dedicated bass version?
How will it sound on a Fender amp?
Much smoother than in the video. For me in a better way.
Nice I like
So this is the same as the Scott Henderson RC Booster?
Oh yes
The SH version can run at 18v too.
xotic.us/effects/voltage-doubler
Yeah that was some tasty playing..
Greatest tone too.

Sjaak Strik from what I've read they are the same essentially
They are the same except for the design and the blue led

@@thom8011 sorry for late reaction. Thanks.

When can I get one?
Is this like an updated EP Booster or something completely different?
In my own opinion, better on 9v!

How do you adjust Gain 2?
The blue light in the middle of the controls is also the knob for gain-two
