I seen this movie yesterday and I got to say its was a pretty good movie. I had to come to your channel because you are the only person I saw did a review on it. I'm trying to figure out how you seen it two weeks earlier. Do you stay walking distance from the cinema or something. This movie is a shoutout to all the network channel the work behind the scene to show good product on television for viewers to see. Sports, News, Weather, and politics. The decision making in the movie was insane from the guy name John Magaro.
With this one bro, due to the subject matter I am not too sure if I would watch this as for me this is a little bit sensitive. However, I appreciate your coverage on this and at least you enjoyed the movie despite the negatives with not connecting to characters and not following a 3 act structure
@@AnthonyAPerez There is another really good movie that came out in 1986 titled Sword of Gideon. It's a Canadian film. Munich is a remake of of that movie.
@@AnthonyAPerez There are other movies that tell the story about the terrorists and the hostages. If you were to make a movie about NASA and the space program would you retell Apollo 13? Or would you focus on other missions? Or other parts of that mission? There is a movie on Netflix right now called Apollo 13: Survival. It's not a retelling of Apollo 13. It's about all the people in Houston that worked so hard to bring the crew safely back home. Maybe the more correct criticism is that this movie assumes you know the story already, and have seen the other movies that depict this tragedy. Maybe it wants you to dig further into the subject on your own. Or maybe this movie is geared to an older audience that knows the story already. People who remember watching the story unfold on TV and wondered why certain decisions were made concerning this horrible event. Or maybe the movie is treating you as an adult and didn't feel the need to create a character to hold your hand and tell you how to feel. Reviewers usually hate that. What happened in 1972 is sort of a first step into how certain events are told in the media today. Something horrible just happened in New Orleans. What do you want to know, what should you see? How should you feel about the victims? Does your feeling about what happened change depending on how that event is being presented to you? Why is the human race so inept about dealing with terrorism? Is that a result of how we get the news on such events? Is that ineptitude different depending on where you live?
I didn’t have much interest from the trailer but, that’s great you were intrigued with it.

@@TennisReaperCinema-vp7bw I’m part of a critics association, so I get invited to early screenings and get sent early screeners to watch at home.
Cool movie review as always

@@AnthonyAPerez you are still a kid to me.
@ I suppose, but I’m a 31 year old guy 😂🤷🏻♂️
@@AnthonyAPerez I'm kind of old past my years so you may just think I'm old than I am if you talked to me long enough.

Maybe this movie wants you to feel for the victims and their families, instead of the messenger.
@@nellgwenn Maybe, but it feels like it cares much more about the story of the messengers.
