    I was a General Contractor in Florida for 45 years and my favorite crews were always Mexican. They do excellent work and never slow down.

      Had a 12 ' high car port put in a while back and in one day was up and anchored down. With the right crew they get with it. They left my house and went to another job and started it before day was out. Most are paid by the job not the hour so the more jobs they do the more money they make.

    What a beautiful barn Wolf Barns constructed for you. Great work by a great company for a very satisfied customer. That's what it's all about. It's really nice. Not only a place for all your equipment but maybe a few stacked rolls of hay. I'm so happy for you. Something else to be proud of and thankful for. I enjoyed watching the Wolf crew. Thankyou for another great video.

Good luck with the tidying up and getting other stuff in there, bet you will soon have it filled up. The turkey certainly wasn't scared of what was going on and Charley had a good view.🙋🙏❤️🚜🚜🚜🚜

    Pour a footing on both ends and rear between the Perma Columns, lay cinder blocks on footings up to inside of metal walls to keep water shed away from inside, and place crushed stone as the floor [ 1 or 2 inches higher in rear for any water drainage to front for dispersion ] - bingo - looks great and it's totally enclosed. Also, lay some oak pallets against rear wall for buckets of fluids and oils and boxes of lubes, a shelf across rear, end to end, at 5 ft level for smaller items, etc, add LED floods on a switch inside and/or cantilevered apron for night work and motion activation LED floods and camera(s) for thieves.

    You have a good place to hang shovels, post hole digger, rakes and like items out of the weather and off the ground. Items that always get in the way and tripping over or only use once in a while. You can keep the garage neat when you get it back. Don’t put the feed trailer in the new shed, that would attract your birds and other critters. A nice big shed is now yours.

    Damn I miss building. Was time to stop, then it was time to stop lining up the subs and materials, but still miss it. No other job is as rewarding as building, to drive away each day seeing what has been done, then the final day knowing it's complete and will be there for decades if not a century.

    Dan if you notice they worked with the music going there !!! It was great there !!! I know that have worked with people of that race !!! Great workers HARD workers !!! Dan you can even put solar in there for your selves to keep electrical needs met for yourself then like lights that guard the items in there !!! Oh Put the solar panels on the outside of the barn it will be great that way for yourself then !!!

  • @christinestill7303
    @christinestill7303 10 месяцев назад +1

    Protecting your equipment from the sun, rain, snow, ice, and wind will make the hoses, electronics, seals, etc. last much longer, the paint won’t fade as quickly, and the metal will not rust/decay as quickly. All it takes is some basic cover; a fully enclosed structure is overkill but this looks like it will do the job.

    In 1969 my Dad and I built a post barn that I believe was 30' x 40' with an open side. It was not a cantilevered open side however. Back in then we were building the trusses on site. We were finished in 4 days.

    Count your ducks. I remember hiring a man to work on a home for me and at the end of the day I found 2 bags of oranges in the back of my work truck. When I asked where they came from the man told me he picked them from the tree in the front yard. When I asked if he had permission he told me no. I told him I was not stealing someones fruit and for him to get them out of my truck and tell the home owner what he had done. After giving him a ride back to his vehicle I told him he was Fired! I will not tolerate thieves working for me!
