Time and attention is love. Dimashs parents were in the midst of music careers. Dimash being the first son was primarily raised by his grandparents the first 10 yrs. This ia a tradition in Kazakh culture. He was surrounded by many relatives. His mother as mostly like a sister. His mother and father performed and were renowned in Kazakhstan. Dimash would watch them and once at 2 yrs ran up on stage and took a bow. He has said he knew at that time he wanted to be on the stage. His grandmother started taking him to music school at 5 yrs. He demonstrated perfect pitch. He picked up the piano easily. As a toddler they gave him a cassette tape player with music on it. He slept with it every night. Not interested in the stuffed animal toys.
His destiny was written from the beginning. They nurtured his soul and today there is an inner strength in him that makes it possible for him to have the courage to do what he does. Not because it is demanded of him. But purely his hearts desire. Very bright and focused from a babe...he is deeply aware of what a child needs. He wants love and safety for all the children. He has been taught his history and detests the destruction and suffering of the most innocent. The world can be a beautiful place like what he grew up in if people would just stop fighting. He's young and idealistic. Eventually he will lose the innocent view and realize that mankind is flawed. In sin. But we can do a lot better and must always strive for peace. He knows how much he has been given and never fails to acknowledge with utmost gratitude those people ..family, teachers, mentors...who have supported him. A child destined for greatness.

Según la tradición kasaja el hijo mayor de la nueva familia es dado a los abuelos para ser criado y educado por ellos, lo mismo pasó con Dimash con la diferencia que todos vivían juntos en la misma casa por eso es que es tan apegado a sus abuelos y como los padres viajaban mucho por sus jiras musicales les venía bien que los abuelos lo cuidaran. Hasta los primeros años de la escuela primaria Dimash creía que sus abuelos eran sus padres. Cuando Dimash se trasladó de ciudad para empezar la universidad sus abuelos se vinieron con él para cuidarlo y que no estuviera solo. Te recomiendo que reacciones a la canción OMIR que un resumen de toda su vida. Es una canción escrita completamente por él, usa los subtítulos, la letra es hermosa ❤

Most people have home footage. Dimash is the oldest of his siblings. He has a younger sister and a younger brother. His younger brother is following in Dimash's footsteps, when it comes to music. Not in singing, but in musicianship. His sister is getting a medical degree and helps run the family restaurant.

The first images were with his grandmother & aunt, not his mum. The 3rd lady that came in is his mum. She is the one with the long hair & very pretty.
Yes, his mum & dad are both singers & most Kazakh households have a dombra. His granddad & dad both played the dombra. His mum & dad are famous singers in Kazakhstan. There are lots of videos of them performing & sometimes Dimash performing with them.

Dimash is the oldest child, so the girl is likely his aunt or cousin. His mother and father are both professional singers, so he grew up surrounded by music. Dimash's mom took him with her to a practice session. A teacher took Dimash aside to keep him entertained. She kept playing different notes on the piano and I guess he was singing whatever she played. She rushed to his mom and told her, "Your son has perfect pitch," soon he was the youngest child to join their prestigious music school at age 5.

Dimash grew up with his grandparents, traditional with the first born son.. The traditional giving of flowers at the end of his parents musical events is where the very young Dimash would join his parents on stage..

Thats not his mum that's his auntie on his Dads side. Dimash was raised by his grandparents, he believed they were his parents until he was 10 and a teacher told him his mother was Sveta, who he thought was his older brothers wife. He was OK though once he got over tge initial shock he was happy to have two sets of parents. To this day though, at home he still refers to his Grandmother and late Grandfather as Mum and Dad and his birth parents he calls by their first names. He is always very respectful of both sets of parents though. They do all live under the same roof as a family although Dimash is rarely there as he is always flying around the world for work ❤ also not his sister, she is another aunt ❤ Dimash is 18 months old in this video ❤ Dimash's whole family are musical, the films are just home movies. Dimash's whole lifehas been filmed. ❤
