Congrats to Jason for being there for his kid, helping with homework and all, I have a 4 year old son and I can’t wait to be that father that helps with school work
this entire pod was an absolute gem!! the chemistry was electric and the wholesomeness held up the entirety of the pod and it was so amazing to witness you two effortlessly flow, completely engaged, even through the extremely vulnerable moments!! hats off to the both of you! truly inspiring as someone doing the work as well; watching you two today healthy, happy, and radiating gratitude reminded and reinvigorated me to why it’s all worth it in the first place!!! thankful for all you do, and this episode! always rooting for you mama, love you whitney!!!

I was literally just watching Hason's pod at Skankfest with Harland, I finish it and come out of it to have this at the top of my YT 😊 Thank you for posting Whitney and everyone
I love Jason he's such a great person, he's endearingly brash & uncannily humble simultaneously! The craziest part is he looks almost identical to my brother-in-law, whose first name is Jason and my maiden last name is Ellis!?🤯 I wish I could post a photo on here of him so you can see I swear they're doppelgangers
I love that Jason looks like an enforcer for some Wild biker gang, but truly is just a big softie. Seems like a really chill hang and his friendship with Whitney and Ian Fidance is just endearing
As someone who became a fan of Ellis, back in the day when he was skating & running around with Carey Hart, I've truly been enjoying seeing him blow up. I loved his sirus show & immediately started following him, soon as he dropped his podcast. I've gotten to watch him evolve & start new careers. And, I truly commend him for always being true to himself & honest about his journey in life. Thanks for giving us more of this awesome duo. Can we now get a Whitney, Jason, Sarah Hyland, Ian Finance, & Jordan Jensen episode....or even a live?!?!?
Good interview, Jason's at his best when he's comfortable an being his natural, likeable self and not forcing it, trying to be what he thinks a comedian should be.
I love Jason Ellis… so freakin cool. He’s cool because he is just so honestly himself, warts and all. I didn’t really know how to take him when I first saw him but after a few different podcasts I think he is really awesome.

I don't think many men had dads that went over grooming and cleanliness. It was a topic of conversation growing up. Wash hair and rinse. Then wash from face to toe keeping groin and butt for last. I recall my dad telling me to ensure that I wash the bottom of my feet. I don't think cleanliness is a common thing taught ... How often you wash your towels, sheets, etc. We were a new wash cloth and towel family and you wash your sheets once a week. Scrub your nails, use deodorant, keep a back up pair of underwear and socks in your car at all times. I managed a security company for ten years ... There were a lot of guys that struggled with basic grooming ...
Why is whitney the most grounded and awesome celebrity ive ever seen. Literally is just a real person even though shes a hollywood sweetheart. That behind Jasons right shoulder, with the brain and the face is literally art ive made , just not ceramic. Whitney rocks
Yeah she rocks. Especially the part where she’s dating a domestic abuser and recommended Cosby’s lawyer to him. How’s that for rocking and being a feminist? Protecting pieces of trash abusers.
Grounded is a bit of a reach . But yes maybe she's seen so much Hollywood that she came out of it wiser but don't be fooled she friends with kesha and any body who is Viral . She craves any ounce of celebrity so thats not that Grounded

Thanks for addressing Kratom addiction. There’s not enough info out there about how dangerous it can be. Would love any tips for coming off of it. I’ve been trying for awhile.
About 20 years ago, when I was due to give birth and contractions were coming thick and fast, I heard a womp-womp sound !! I would ask other mothers if this was their experience too but Jason is the first person to liken “pain” to the same sound.
Didn’t know I was gonna watch the pod and get validation for getting irrationally angry at people that wear Sketchers. Thought I was the only one 😅 Anyway this was a great time! New fan of Jason’s now! Happy to discover him here!

Whitney, love you and ❤ the show. I watch every week. I just wanted to say that for me personally, kratom has helped me tremendously. I take some most days and have been on and off for the past 4 or 5 years. I can take up to 10 capsules and not feel high as like when I take percocet, vicodin, or any other opioid. Addiction runs hardcore in my family and I've never been addicted to anything like that. This is why I like kratom. I've taken opioids plenty in my life (age 37). Only when prescribed and I don't ask for more refills. I suffer with pain every day and when it's really bad I take kratom. I've never gotten super high from it. And I'm not addicted. I go months and months sometimes between uses. Then I'll use it every single day for months and then take a long break and come back when I really need them. Just saying for me they are a life saver while I'm still trying to get diagnosed for my pain and severe nerve damage. ❤
It sounds like you dont have addictive personality if you never abused the opiods you were given. That is lucky and prly why kratom didn't affect you the way it does others. I think addictive personality doesn't care abt the substance. You can be addicted to anything
Jason's one of my favorite people. I never miss "The Jason Ellis Show" or "Hawk vs Wolf" podcasts. Thanks for having him as your guest, Whitney!❤
