I have to say thank you, I'm sixty years old now and been a photographer all my life, I've never really done macro, after watching a couple of your films you've made me realise a few things and of course you are right, what better way to learn about the creatures where we live! I will definitely be giving it a go. Thanks for the inspiration!
Those are great points about macro. I started last year and it it added a huge new dimension for wildlife photography. If I'm not seeing hawks, owls, eagles, or herons, I'm doing reptiles, frogs, salamanders and bugs with the macro lens. Spring, summer, and fall are my favorite times because I can do either right away.

I think all photographers should give macro a try due to its accessibility , and also the sheer amount of interesting subjects all over to find!

Great video. All you presented is true but in my opinion macro is not easier then other types of photography just the challenges are different.

Thank you. In photoshop I apply noise and color noise reduction and that helps
