B string Jam - Guitar is a 1 string instrument - Jam with Mika 3

Jam, but not just a jam. This jam will challenge you. You shall play B string only. That's right, just one string. First find the notes of C-major scale on B string and make music. Why would you do this? and what is the point? Well.. to put it short, one string playing is the key to melodic playing. For me ( and many others) it has been the key to connect your ear and inner melody with fretboard activities. 1 string playing will stop you from playing all your licks and force you to focus on melodic stuff. It's also fantastic for singing type of phrasing. You can see and hear the intervales very clearly too. Just jam and jam some more!
I play first 8 bars, then it's you turn to fill the next 8 bars. Then it repeats.

I forget who it was that said you should forget all the other strings to learn the fretboard, just jam on a single string at a time so you won't get stuck in positional patterns. Other than you now.
