A Trip Along the former Ashby & Nuneaton Joint Line by Railcar

This trip was undertaken by single car (Bubble Car) diesel unit over the Battlefield line between Shackerstone Junction and Shenton, the only part of the former joint LNWR/MR branch from Nuneaton to Shackerstone Junction still in use after full closure in the 1970's.

It was. The single line formation changes sides a few times on route to pick the “better” side lol
