I've been watching all of these vids on kicker ramps from all usual suspects, thought it was a great idea so I made a basic one and started setting height and length obstacles to help me learn what bias to put on the bike. I think it's been helping a lot. Jumping doubles scare the bejeezus out of me, but are also so tantalizing! Good fun, can't wait for the next one!

It helps! 😂 but I always tell my patients it needs to be a more gnarly story gotta add some flair to it."I was doing doubles and messed up" isn't as fun to tell people as "i saw a baby kitten across the double being chased by a raccoon so I just sent it" 😂

Im happy that my hometrail is an abandon freeride line with doubles well over 10 meters (32 ft) and what i learned from that is the technique behind jumping is 90% commiting.

WOW..ive never almost teared up over something so simple.Literally im having to hold back. You just did something so simple to so many people and something that has been holding you back for so long.I would feel totally amazing after accomplishing that. its the same things that hold me back as well. @@BIKINGWITHBOBO its not all bad the jump i crashed on is called The Vag after having made The G Spot so you can imagine how much fun my mates are having with that. Being a quad is not so great and am fast learning it going to significantly limit what how and where I can ride in the future. Luckily there are RUclips's like your self out there to keep me entertained.

First time watching your video. I have to admit it's fun watching someone else's progression, especially when you are not 'pro' so we can follow your journey. I myself started riding bike after almost 15 years and so far it's been a great experience. I bought entry level hardtail and after a month of casual riding I went with my brother and father in law to the bikepark - it was great. Altought we did not jump tabletops or doubles at all. First we gotta learn to bunny hop properly, then we are gonna move towards small jumps. Your video is a great source of information, thank you ;]

It took me three trips to the same bike park, and probably 20-25 laps down the same trail before I took the big jump line and cleared all the doubles. Felt so fucking good when I finally overcame the "what ifs" in my head and just did it! Nice work to you!

One strategy I like to use is to set a number of run ups, you have to do that many, and the next time you roll up to the lip you have to send it
