クラシックの中で私が1番好きな曲です。
特に第一楽章のAllegroが大好きでよく聴いています。色々な演奏のものがありますが、このトランペット等金管楽器がフルに入った壮大な演奏のものが好きでカラヤン指揮なので言うことはありません。

ヘンデルで弦楽器がビブラート全開でロマン派のようにレガートで歌っているのは今となっては違和感しかないけど、ほんの数十年前までは堂々とこれが決定盤的に売られていたんだな。価値観の移り変わりは速い。
我々が今聴き馴染んでいる、バロック弓を意識した音を適度に抜くフレージングや完全なノンビブラートといった“古楽奏法”とされているものもあっという間に｢なんだこの妙な演奏は｣と後世の人から時代の遺物のように扱われる日が来るだろう
カラヤンの奏法の特徴の一つとして、今気付きました。 2.Airで判ったのですが、第一ヴァイオリンと第二ヴァイオリンのつなぎの部分をやや重ねている様に感じました。これが流れる様に聴こえる元になっているのかなと思いました。特にワルツ曲で威力を発揮していそうです。
そう言えばマントヴァーニも積極的に取り入れて有名になっていますね ! !

Is this recording from the mono Angel/EMI LP recording that also has Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite? My parent's had this and it's always been a favorite of mine. Thanks for posting. I love von Karajan's rendition of the "Air", so lush and breathlike.
To be honest, Karajan's interpretation of Baroque music has a touch of the Romantic era.😅
This tune will melt away our sorrow , suffering , anxiety and lamentation ,and purify our soul .

On New Year,s Eve , temples in various parts of Japan call a large bell of 1〜2 meters in diameter hanging 108 times , called 「night bell →Japanese mean (Joya no Kane )除夜の鐘」
It's a Buddhist teaching that human beings suffer with 108 anxieties.
The belly is truck on New Year,s Eve and annihilated.
When the Year begins ,
a tremendous number of worshipers pray to temples and shrines to pray for the safety and prosperity of the Year ,
even at severe cold midnight .
The donations that temples and shrines receive from worshipers become hundreds of thousands of USA dollars or euros only on the first three days .
These money are tax - free .
Someday please come to Tokyo of New Year or the luscious spring when cherry blossoms are in full bloom .
