I still have a 360 counsel and minecraft though I play on java it has one of the latest versions not 1.4 but the one before so it's still being updated at the moment
The fact that most of the perks of the PS4 version are basically all the benefits of playing the console version back in the day is testament to 4J Studios' brilliance and how far Minecraft for console has gone down since the Better Together update.

Why I love PS4 Minecraft: -More structures -Java version Redstone -Runs very smooth -Coordinates not on screen all the time -Easier access to end cities (via new mini/side portal every time you kill the dragon) -Classic combat (and Shields exists) -Swimming is smoother and faster (especially up stream) However: -limited number of animals can exists at once -con only place shield in shiled spot -no servers -no command blocks

No, trust me. Bedrock sucks. If you want to navigate the awful inventories, and have your worlds crash and get destroyed, then maybe you might like it. But like everything else, when you have it for a while it gets boring. Servers ain’t worth wanting. At least you still get updates.
One of the best things about ps4 minecraft is the redstone functionality. Quasi connectivity is there but its implemented as a feature instead of bug, so it doesnt need piston updates. It just...works. So redstone will work reliably 100% of the time and you can place redstone on pistons or certain redstone components underwater without them breaking, but you still get that quasiconnectivity and the most widely used features of redstone. Probably the best platform for redstone contraptions.
The only mc left that has the amazing console legacy vibe (the looks, feels, everything) that I really miss (even tho I only played it in 2017 on xbox one, it was great).
Personally I prefer the limited world design. I think it's redundant to allow certain structures spawn such a rediculously far distance from your spawn. I like the medium or large size of worlds in PS4. I think it works better as a game that makes it actually achieveable in a more convenient way

Bedrock redstone is just very dumb in my opinion, the reason why redstone is great (and in extension, minecraft) is because of its unintentional quirks and bugs that the playerbase learned to live with and utilise.

I have played on all the platforms and love the PS4 Minecraft. I like it on switch but the Microsoft issue of not being able to sign in and not getting the achievements makes me not want to invest the time on Nintendo switch.
On Xbox bedrock you can port old worlds from Xbox one edition and you could still use the new Stuff Can’t guarantee that with ps4 but most likely will be able to if you use the same account as the old worlds on bedrock

With constant crashes on xbox1, redstone craziness, bedrock mob spawning, and now the impending iron farm nerf I was genuinely thinking about a PS4 for the familiar console version of Minecraft. Thank you for making this video and putting me over the edge on making the decision. Thank you sir!
Bedrock redstone is just very dumb in my opinion, the reason why redstone is great (and in extension, minecraft) is because of its unintentional quirks and bugs that the playerbase learned to live with and utilise.
Bro you must have a broken Xbox or something it's been the opposite for me, my PS4 keeps crashing and overheating but my Xbox can run for weeks and it could still run without crashing.

i did the same thing and still had 60 fps
I made a fast shooting dispenser and the game crashed
i play ps4 and one time i found three ocean monuments all either next to each other or even touching

i made a superflatworld with like 60 layers of just tnt,and it only lagged a bit near the explosion. it just made this endless tunnel.this was on the og ps4 with just the 500gb.

I have played on all the platforms and love the PS4 Minecraft. I like it on switch but the Microsoft issue of not being able to sign in and not getting the achievements makes me not want to invest the time on Nintendo switch.

On Xbox bedrock you can port old worlds from Xbox one edition and you could still use the new Stuff
Can’t guarantee that with ps4 but most likely will be able to if you use the same account as the old worlds on bedrock
