Same here, just completely wiped emudeck from my deck, was just causing problems. At least i know how the files are structured even if it takes longer.

Hello! When I download Cemu, the file shown in 4:56 does not show as "Cemu.exe" on my deck. It shows as Cemu with a "!" on the file image and it does not launch Cemu. Do you know how I can fix this?

@@spongerox for me the problem came with adding cemu to steam, try to do it last thing and you should be able to move in the program
I cant find the cemu folder so i can add the keys can anyone help me find it on steamdeck
i only own one game from wiiu and that is legend of zelda the wind waker HD and no matter what i do it will not play nor will CEMU even see it. I have tried everything to get this running i had to download the files as i have no idea how to rip it from the cd. It works on pc but when i try to play it on steam deck it just cant find it.
Extract doesn't show, Open in terminal does.
why does mine get stuck/freeze during the step where i press option on Cemu to go on general settings?

Takken tournament loads but crashes as soon as I select any character.
NFS loads fine but then I try to play it crashes.

Didn't work unfortunately, as soon as I launched and tried to get to general settings it wouldn't let me do anything. I actually had cemu already but it wasn't working so I thought maybe launching it manually would help, just can't click anything.

What GPU are you using? I had this same issue in the Windows version with a 3060 12GB. I had to enable hacks, download CEMU Hook, and upgrade to a 3070 before it became playable. Are you on Vulkan or Open GL.

CEMU wouldn't load in any of my ROMs. Apparently its because they're WUX files
You need the specific key for wux/wud files. They are a line of numbers you paste into the 'keys' notepad in the cemu folder. Each game has a different key
I would highly recommend looking into "wiiu usbhelper" for wiiu games. There are great youtube videos explaining it and you don't need to use keys

@@quolpmu1232 which folder? I ripped my library into .wud and I noticed that the program you mentioned either doesn’t have those titles or they’re missing updates.
@ZeroTurn do you mean you ripped your own games? If so the updates/dlc are separate and need to be ripped as well. Then with the CEMU program open, click file > "install game title, update or dlc" for the base game to have it.
In the cemu folder (which you can find by right clicking the shortcut > properties > file location) there should be a "keys" .txt document, look up the keys for the wud version, not wux, and paste it in the notepad. The key is a ~20 character line of random letters/numbers
@@quolpmu1232 Yes, I ripped my games and have the keys. I first noticed that BoTW isn’t playable without updates. I believe that the link was killed last year although it may be back by now. I have them in another format, but really wanted to use my .wud files. I’ll give it a try.

Great video, but some of us aren't getting the games to appear at all and any help would be appreciated.
All steps were clear and I'm furher than I ever been with this emulator but non of the wux files are showing even after install key txt and refresh button
Emulation station recognizes the game I see the scraper info, box art... but nothing is in the actually CEMU program, when I click on 'load' all the roms in the folder will appear but none load into the games list like in the video

You must copy the keys (in my case) to get them to appear. Follow that part of the video closely, but copy only the data , dont not choose "select all" it will copy entire page...
I reset a few times and kept spamming Steam Rom Manger and its up and going. Not all game will load, but all the ones I really wanted do
