Just a quick addendum: enabling Async Shader Compile is highly recommended as that will compile shaders on all threads that are free instead of only using 1 core to do it. This helps alot with pre and in-game comp for games like BOTW and Bayonetta 2
What does that mean to a noobie? Is this a setting for the emulator in this post or a setting we enable elsewhere overall for gaming/system business?
@@thomaszinecker1785 Hi there, the setting is in the emulator's Graphics or General menu for Cemu. for RPCS# it's in the GPU menu.
It basically improves performance a ton and is highly recommended for all emulators. Especially Yuzu

Yes! This is the video I've been waiting so patiently for and it's finally here. I finally have a good up-to-date method of preserving my Wii U library. I've heard that the latest yuzu update runs BOTW flawlessly on a consistent 30fps, TOTK is going to be a blast!
Cemu runs it at 60fps or more
Have to pay for it i believe. The current version is consistently at 20fps

If you right click on "deck" folder you get the option "show hidden folders." Once you do this you’ll see your local folder.

When I was in the Parser section I didn't have the "Local" option at all Im sure Im good to still play the game (I am) but my Steam folder is no where to be found, I checked every area I could there has to be a location for my Steam folder. (Edit got it after awhile) bro you're so awesome you're a G foreal bro

The Jasux one or the Valve one I'd go with the Jasux brand or however you spell their brand name.

I have a couple questions for the results:
for example: Splatoon
1. will Splatoon access/use the Steam account if the "User Accounts" bar is filled in?

Is the 2.0 version of cemu is really that stable because personally i'm still on the 1.26.2f which is the very last version before the 2.0 and is very stable.
In fact i played the entirety of Zelda Breath of the Wild on there on my pc.
I played with a ton of mods, features and graphical mods at native 4k 60fps with an ryzen 9 5950X and an radeon rx 6900xt.👌
Alex XInput for some reason is not showing up as an option for me on my Steam Deck. It is on my PC but not the Steam Deck. Any idea how to fix this?

I just got my steam deck and i'm new to this. your tutorial is one of the best of all I have seen. but I do have a question though, you never mentioned that where to put keys file. other youtubers using emudeck to install cemu has a folder which doesn't exists when install cemu from the official website. do I need to have the key files or this version and work around it itself

How well does monster hunter 3 ultimate run on the deck anyways? Anything special you gotta do to get it running? I could never get it running on pc through cenu, curious if its easier on the deck
Only got a minute in before I was scratching my head at how you're installing Cemu... Why would you not use EmuDeck? Why would you make it harder on yourself?
Emudeck isn’t good and breaks often
@@OhNoItsAlexx I've literally never heard anyone else say that. I've never had a single issue with EmuDeck and everyone else on the subreddit and discord servers pretty much always recommend it. With that kind of an answer, your info is outdated and so I'm glad I stopped watching at 1:12. It can't be taken seriously.
@@snogard106 the main issue i personally had with emudeck is that it installed every emulator that it supports instead of letting you choose which ones you'll actually choose. I choose to install my emulators manually and configure them myself. Regardless, the way this guy does it in the video is stupid when there is a perfectly good linux version available on the discover store to use.

I have one issue when I drag and drop backup roms to my Steam Deck. After I parse and save I see 2 icons of my backup games. One will say Proton and the other won't. Both will open and run the game. My question is do I need all parsers toggled on for Wii U? Im running proton 7 and 8 through emudeck.

Cemu is is great! I think it's the best way to play Breath of the Wild.

Been following this guide and everything is good up until I "TEST THIS PARSER" nothing seemed to show. Any ideas? When I open up CEMU I can see both games but when I test the Parser nothing seems to happen.

I’m lost!!! Please help, I can’t get my input settings on cemu to correlate with my steam deck controls, none of the buttons on my steam deck will affect my game at all, it just stays on that opening page “press any button to start” I tried messing with the settings and I only think I made it worse😢

SRM not showing games with Updates and DLC? Says to shutdown steam if it’s running. Able to workaround and install games manually in steam, but is there a way to select SRM to search multiple directories? Or maybe any other fix?
Found the fix for anyone else having this issue.
Change steam rom manager to classic view
Select exceptions on the top left
Uncheck exclude title for your missing games when parsing

So will all this bump into emudecks install and mess it up? All this seems lengthy for a noob to do, will emudeck install a gamecube or wii for me to play easier that the literally 60steps in this video?? Even right at 16min mark he accidentally almost hits the wrong button and mild freaks out.
Emudeck is far better than this guide. This content didnt even enable aync shader compile. He isn’t knowledgable about many things.
