As someone who was bought up in Sandown and spent many an hour on the pier growing up and has spent an awful lot of my adult life living in Ventnor, I'm just stopping by to say thankyou for showing the best of these little towns, so much to love still and glad to see you enjoyed your holiday, and you're right the coastal drives are beautiful, my faves are through Bembridge and it's house boats and also the journey out to the West Wight...everywhere feels so different x

Greetings from the Isle, glad you had a fun time :) I live in Ventnor and it's a really lovely place . The zoo is great - massive enclosures for rescued big cats, my job sells cheap perfume and we give some to them for the tigers. They spray it on sheep fleeces and they love it,.

We have enjoyed your channel for the last year or so as we got our first caravan just over a year ago now. Learnt so much from RUclipsrs such as you two about managing a large new complicated home on wheels. We were so pleased to see you appearing with Paul and Suki. Great video is lovely to see the Isle of Wight again. I have been there times the first time in the middle 50s with a school for a week later on early part of the 1960s with my girlfriend in the grand Hotel which is no longer there and they once again I think it was 1970s I would like to return. I’m 80 years old now pretty bad arthritis in my knees very difficult to walk. I don’t think I will be coming back, such a shame

Excellent video as always brilliant and your video editing is first class as someone mentioned you ought to work for tourist board. I have been to the IOW a couple of times but if you think this is lovely you need to venture down to Cornwall I’m sure you’d love it. I’m 59 and have been going every year since I was 2 and that’s a long time now 😊 just love it. Only missed 1 main holiday down there in 2019 when went we towed to the Dordogne in France waiting to go back there next year. But still visited Cornwall in early spring that year just can’t miss a trip down there. Just returned last night from hols down there on an adult only site very busy down Cornwall this year like everywhere. But away from the busy places there are some gorgeous coves bays and quaint villages and fishing harbours rolling countryside and steeped with history from smugglers and tin mines, loads to see and do I’m sure you would like it. But anyway brilliant video really enjoyed it keep up the good work 👍Happy Caravanning 😊😎

The thing is when we holiday in the UK, there is on finer place to be if we have the weather. I like the dramatic coastline of the IOW but if you like dramatic coastlines then you need to head North. From Bridlington to Whitby my Father used to sat that no coastline matches Yorkshires anywhere. Loved your post cards, take care and stay safe you two

I have not been to the IOW since the late 1960s, when I was about 10. It probably hasn’t changed much since then I bet, familiar names of lots of wonderful places. Could be a possible return in the near future, although there are many places to go to. Just returned from Shropshire which was also stunning.

Hi Guys, thanks yet again for another great review/video. I am not sure if you are able or indeed would rather not make recommendations. But you praised the site where you were staying, are you able to give the name of the site or have you any recommendations as this will be my first visit to the IOW so have an open mind where to stay? We are looking to go during September (this year) a little late trying to book somewhere, but will give it a go… Thanks again and keep up your good work.. By the way, you saved me a lot of trouble when we were touring Austria, as I was having problems with my caravan, checked out one of your clips and hey presto I fixed the problem, so I owe you a glass of wine or two if I ever bump into you on our travels..

Sure it wasn't because of the sewage that southern water dumped in the sea around the island. People warned not to swim . Check the island news
