Fabulous bike, I use the same oil, but getting expensive now. Hand tight for the oil filter is good advice, trying to get them off after a dealer has serviced the bike is almost impossible at times. Good job Mate.
Good job 👍🏼 Having just recently done the same on 5 of my bikes, I gotta say, the worst part is taking off and putting back the fairing plastics! Most bikes are straight forward enough, assuming no snapped tabs..but i just removed my TLR’s fairing, and that was a bit of a pain the backside… Why do people use the wrong non-JIS screwdrivers on screws! 🤨
@mmotorcycles9497 They looked oem, but 2 had the heads chewed & over tightened. It just makes a simple task a bit more labour intensive 🤦♂️ Lol yes, the oil gets expensive.. but it's a false economy to not change it.. It gives you peace of mind 😊👍
@@mmotorcycles9497 I totally agree. I had my yellow and black one for 14 years, it never let me down. I have no idea why I traded it for a Xv1100 Virago. Maybe, I thought I was getting bored with it... Worse decision I ever made.
I've always enjoyed the process of changing oil. My father told me once you can never change the oil too many times. 😎👍
That is 💯 true. I usually do it by time since so many bikes I don’t hit the miles other then on the gsxr it’s my daily rider
@@mmotorcycles9497Same.. I change the oil annually regardless of miles or if even used tbh

I’m guessing they lose the oem bolts. 5 bikes that had to be expensive. It was 50 bucks to do that one

I miss my Gsx-R 600 K1 so much, I have recently been playing with the idea of trading my bike for another Gsx-R 600. ^^
Gsxr are great bikes. I love mine. They’ve been making that line so long they just have it down all the way.

Glad to see your are staying busy.❤
