Oh man am I glad that I watched your video before taking that safety lever out. I wouldn’t have known to put a punch in there and I would have had to play 52 pickup with all of my internals after they exploded out of the frame. Reading the instructions is good! 😂
Like some others have commented it would be nice if you included 1/16 allen wrench with this kit as it costs same as charging ring that do come with wrench. I'm from Europe and have 1.5mm allen but that's too small to take out that right side safety. Now had to order 1/16 allen just for this job 😆
This was pretty difficult to install and keep everything in place (for a beginner like me). Use an allen wrench to keep the hammer assembly in place as demonstrated. I recommend doing the disassembly and reassembly in a clear plastic bag in case the springs and detents fly out while you work. I had to stop and look for the safety spring and detent when mine flew out on re-assembly. I got her done, and what do you know, it looks great! Even after loosening the screw a bit the selector is still a bit snug. I will have to oil it and bit and break it in at my range soon!
How come for the charging ring you include the hex wrench, but for this thumb ledge, you do not? I had to buy a set and I don't know if it's just cheap meatal, or is that tiny screw made out of plastic? The hex just spins in the hole.
Installed. The safety will not engage after the trigger is pulled. Works just fine w/ the clip out and before I dry fire. After trigger pull, it will not go back up to safe, it is like there is something in the way. Thoughts?
The one in this video doesn't, it's only for the 22/45. But we recently released a "Cornerstone" specifically for the Mark IV that will work, and the install process is essentially identical.

This one went back together easier than my Victory. I love the product.

Let us know what you think! Going to keep this comment at the top so that others may see your tips! Thank you!
You should make a left hand version.

Bill - do you have a part number on that spacer that was supposed to come with the gun? (I'm sure it did.. I just misplaced it).
@JASON VOORHEES What phone number did you use to contact them?

Thanks for the fantastic video.
Thank you! Great information. :-)
NICE tutorial!!!
Thanks a lot! And thank you for watching :)
will this work with the tandemkross large wood grips?
Why do you need to put the magazine in before dropping the hammer? Does it damage anything to dry fire without a magazine in?
There's a magazine disconnect from the factory, so unless it has been disabled, you need to insert a magazine in order to even drop the hammer.
What specific brand/model number of red dot site in on this gun? TK Please let me know.
It's a Holosun HS503c Circle Dot sight.
Does it work on the Mark IV Target?

will this fit the mk3 22/45 lite?
Sorry, this is for the MKIV 22/45 only. Thanks for your interest!
TANDEMKROSS your welcome . I love TK parts ! They are excellent!
Doese it come in black?
Yes it does!
All fine except that the 1/16 screw immediately stripped. Who the hell uses a 1/16? Like that couldn't have been a 5/64?!?
I knw WTF Ruger, off I go to the tool store to buy a new tool. Hopefully I can get this F'ing screw out....
Too bad it's not for 22/45 mkIII .
You lost me at spring and detent. You showed the spring but not the detent.
That beard is F** ridiculous.
