Dont rush to move up! Depending on the casino you play at, it might be more profitable to consistently win at low stakes. I have lost alot of money shot taking 2/5, will be grinding 1/3 for a long time until I build up a proper 2/5 bankroll.
@@JimmyPockettsPoker that’s all besides the point. Yes, checking was a simple standard play. How exactly did your check “work”? Did you trick your opponent into betting? Did you have a hand that wanted to bloat the pot?
@@RicardoMartinez-oy9dg I wanted the pot bigger because the stakes are low for me, at these stakes I want to play big pots as much as possible. You can call it "unnecessarily bIoating pots" all you want but I do not want to play small $150 pots all day its a waist of a drive for me honestly. I was hoping someone behind me bet cause I didn't want to bet into 3 opponents with just a draw.
Given the SPR in that hand, jamming is the best option instead of calling on that turn. If everyone was deeper and depending on the player type you could sometimes call in position instead of jamming.
@@JimmyPockettsPoker heads up sure, but you weren’t heads up. depending on the player type? You had a maniac behind you and you were holding the nuts don’t you want him to keep putting money in? You blew him out of the pot. The other opponent was already all in. SPR was irrelevant. Calling was the best option.
@@RicardoMartinez-oy9dg Lets agree to disagree here. Yes he plays like a maniac, but he is still a good thinking player who is here often. He knows if I just call 75% of my stack and leaving 25% behind that its goin in on the river anyways. If I call off that much of my stack I have a straight and for the early position to jam like that he's got a straight too. These are simple reads for a player of his level to see so thats why I jammed, he was folding anyways. You really shouldn't be calling bets that leave you around $125 stack compared to a $450 pot, just get it in now.
For sure bro, i should've gotten away from that. Curiosity killed the cat! Keep it a stack tho he could show me pocket QQs face up and I still might call 100bbs with AK, I'm a degen gambler lmaoo.
Just found your channel from a vid from like a year ago, crazy improvement in quality and commentary!! Keep it coming 💪🏽
Appreciate it bro! I have been trying to improve, glad you noticed.

@@benkonstance283 Heard youu, actually shocked you found the channel! I'm always surprised at how many locals watch my vlogs.
Just found your channel and subscribed. I am over 50 and trying to learn the lower stakes so I can move up. Thanks for sharing your journey!

“We go 7 ways to a flop. My check works” 😂😂😂😂 bro had a straight draw in a 7 handed pot talking like he’s trapping with the nuts.
No need to bet out into 3+ opponents with a straight draw there bro....
Checking is the best option

Not the limp jam… nice session🔥
@@pocketpeg thanks, the limp jam is almost never weak lmaoo
Limp jam is ALWAYS AA, KK, QQ

Oh for sure bro I’m not saying it was a bad call. Just 95% of the time I see that especially if it’s an OMC player they always have it haha.
Hit my first 1k pot this month. This one player did a blind raise multiple times at parx dealer let him do it late position pre flop
Good shi! Keep grinding, soon those 1k pots will become a regular thing if you keep playing at that spot.
u can be like me wining 1 k pots hahahahaahah u hit a stright and got payed of anyone can do that
Lmao, if everyone could do that the would everyday! Takes skill haha
Stay out of the pits bro!
Generally the pits been good to me! Just had a bad night, you win some and lose some all part of the game.
It's pronounced "hundred", not "hunit"
Wow, thanks never knew that
