Love Nori going swimming in the lake at Cabin 5 and that he is just down for anything given he is with his people.
Haha, Nori, the real star of the show!
It's insane watching her grow; in confidence, as an artist, content creator and in her ideas over the years! 😀
The heart u guys gave disapeared after I edited the comment, and my replies keep getting deleted, would appreciate if you guys could re-like it 🙏
@@dandd6822 RUclips has shadow banned you. You maybe mentioned that you like Trump 5 years ago.
Who cares if they like it again! She knows and we know that this is a great comment I couldn't agree more
Tysm, I guess so, it's just I've never had a like by a creator b4
Definitely! I still remember starting watching when Martina bound Books on an old chair in the living room
The neat thing about this painting is that if you look at each place and its color pallette and mood, it actually changes your painting (which I believe was the point of this). The first place had this golden sunset and amber vibe and then as you transitioned to each place, that cabins mood and color were added to the painting. Creating a sort of collage effect.
I was just thinking about that!
Just saw the video and that was what I've noticed immediately.
HOW DARE YOU DELAY THE "SKJERA BAGERA!" hahahahahahaha awesome vid
I WAS SO CONFUSED
I restarted the video cos I thought I'd missed it😢😂😂
I said it and then felt sad she didnt said it back
@@lawriekay same 😂
Martina, u are a wizard with a paintbrush. A harbinger of inspiration.
I'm so glad that you're taking breaks from huge mega-projects to do some good old-fashioned traveling & painting. Happy you're getting back to your roots from time to time.
PERFECT video for an October weekend, going to watch this with my hot cocoa ☕
i was just thinking about that😅
I think what this video proves once again, is that Norway is just the most beautiful country on earth.
That's really what my takeaway was aswell, everywhere they went is just absolutely gorgeous.
It really is!!
Was there a couple of years ago for a very short time and plan to go back. Even learning Norwegian in my spare time, just for fun 🙂
This is absolutely my favourite kind of videos from you guys, these kinda vids with the staying in the nature for a long period always make me feel so happy, keep it up guys!
One of the things I respect most about Martina is her work ethic. She works so hard on these projects and puts everything into each one. Never satisfied till they are exactly what she wants. It’s really awesome to see her consistently creating such a vast array of art and projects
That is the reason I subbed to her in the first place.
This is probably the most chaotic cabin video I've ever seen 😂 They're usually all about the calm and cosy vibes. Loved the final painting
I‘m so fricking happy that I found your channel! It’s been so great to watch your projects because your not only amazingly creative and very skilled, but also very funny! Please, never stop making arts and crafts, you always improve my and many others mood when watching
🥹💜
Thank you for the heart, I am honored to have gotten one from you!
Sweet!
Watching Martina painting is like watching Bob Ross. You think it's perfect and then she overpaints everything and you wanna shake her but in the end it's always even better than before. Love/hate this rollercoaster of emotions while watching. :D
I agree!
What I think would be really cool is a bunch of paintings that all connect together to make a huge picture. But still work as individual paintings.
Martina, that painting is incredible 😍
Watching Norrie enjoying all his adventures was absolutely magical! He would make a great kids book character ❤
Nori’s independence and willingness to just go off on their own adventure is honestly kinda cool. The final result was so cool in this one, so much nice detail in the painting
Gotta say the explosion on the last toilet when she was "blowing it up" with the royal family was some high brow humor, top notch wit. Honestly this vid had everything you could want, off grid living, artistic method, quick wit and humor, Nori swimming. So good.
A few of those had me going "damn, that just needs a sauna" xDDDD
And then I went "oooh, Moomin mug!"
I'm such a cliche, honestly.
Really pretty painting, and really cool video!
sama :)
I knew there was something missing from all these cabins.
11:23 love the bobby duke reference! ♥
They're slowly morphing into one person...
I spent my honeymoon in Norway this year and I fell so much in love with this country!
Your videos, especially the ones like this one where you see so much of the breathtaking landscape, make me want to travel to Norway right away.
Your artwork is just as breathtaking and I wish I had just a spark of your talent, Martina, you are a true inspiration yourself.
please keep up the good work, I love your channel so much!
best regards from Germany
21:42 doggo casually having a wail of a time swimming lol
I love how each location influenced the painting (even the weather) the creative process is so cool. Apparently, I need go outside and touch grass to do art in nature. (Tbh you should've done a coffee star rating)
HOLY COW! the improvement is actually blowing my mind, I LOVE how it's so different from your other paintings but still has that signature Martina flair! The details in the foreground brought the whole thing home, I think this might be the most master of masterpieces! And I'm calling it now, the secret project has gotta be an art book!
As a Canadian, I can certainly appreciate the first fire in a newly opened winter shelter. Like, you are SO glad to have arrived, you just wanna hang out, but you CAN'T hang out until that fire's roarin'.... So there's a real anticipation there!
No way! Another wild Canadian, how ya doing bud? How's your weather cause it's getting chillier up here in the Kootenays. My family just got two big loads of wood to top up for the winter.
What I think would be really cool is a bunch of paintings that all connect together to make a huge picture. But still work as individual paintings.
Every time you post a video of you traveling around Norway I realize how beautiful this country must be. It's so different from what I'm used to here in southern Europe. Btw the painting is amazing as always!
I love the last cabin. I would have stayed there in high Norwegian summer, when the temperature is the highest and it's as hot as it gets. I would probably think that it sucks and I should have come in a more wintery time, but at the same time I wouldn't because I can't stand the cold! 😅
Martina's painting skills are leveling up like crazy! I just love her!
Also, the Moomin mug!
Starting off with an excellent view up Martina's nostrils and marsh coffee.....my Sunday is complete
you do you dude 🤣🤣
When I had a ski vacation in my youth, we also spend two nights in some alpine cabin. It still had that infamous thunder beam in the latrine hut. So be happy having those toilet seats, they are pure luxury.
That might be my favorite painting she's ever done too. I had my doubts though, when she pitched the idea in the beginning. I mean, she's done this kind of painting with dragons over and over, and I thought it'd just be the same. Don't get me wrong, that's good! But the aesthetic of this particular painting seemed to be influenced by each environment she was in in each cabin. It started with a bunch of warm colors and gradually got more winterized. That layering and changing as she went along really added depth to the entire piece. Amazing work.
Norway has got to be one of the most beautiful countries in the world with it's landscape of amazing Fjords with mountains just made me think if any vikings had been there. That last cabin tree house was soo cool that I could absolutely live there, also the fog off the water was creepy that if the monster you painted rose up from the lake like Jörmungandr wouldn't surprise me.
Great video! That painting was wonderful. Looks like the cover of a "choose your own adventure" book I would read as a kid.
27:32 the worm, the warrior, and the fly 🪰
That White Hoodie ❤I sense new merch coming
I love that even though Norway is much, much smaller than Australia in area, you still have great distances to travel! We also think nothing of driving for 6+ hours to get somewhere we really want to go! AMAZING painting as always Martina and props to Hansi for some truly gorgeous photography. ❤
I love it when Martina's videos are related to travel, it's a separate kind of aesthetics.✨🌿
It's just incredibly beautiful to watch this with a cup of coffee on an autumn evening, pity I don't have a cat or a dog so i can watch her videos with them :(
The "very cute, very demure, very mindful," made me smile so much. And ngl, cabin five was just all of my Minecraft houses I built when I was nine come to life.
That hoodie looks so good in white! Sad I missed the drop for the black one
Honestly one of my favorite paintings you’ve done and video ideas! You can see the inspiration from each site you stayed at, and I love the final details! Also lol at the rocking chair comment, you should make this one into a print it just transports you when you look at it!
Ah Martina, I love that for the last 5 years or so, your mind has translated "I want to paint" into "I need to put myself through hell to accomplish my goal" you don't make a compelling case for taking up art! 😅
PS. I will never get over how beautiful Norway is. I'll give you a new challenge. Teach a fat Scotsman with no visual imagination how to paint in ten days, as long as it's me, and I get to spend some time in Norway after.
Waking up to a fresh snowfall is just magickal. So cool to watch your progress as you sink in and adapt to each location.
Off-Grid. Going full Viking again I see?
With that well-known pink-and-blue Viking hair :)
The hair is for when she dress up as Harley Quinn for her BF
The true difference between an artist and a viewer of art... Every single time Martina showed us the 'in-progress' painting, I was like "Damn, that's a gorgeous finished painting you have there".
But that is also a sick final result too. Incredible work, and a gorgeous little tour across nature for us to boot.
2:30 THANK GOD! I couldn't breathe!
had to restart the video a couple of times because i thought i just missed it.
My entire body was tense
@@ribbitiribbit x2
Me too.. It was still good and appropriate though, I think... this video just had a 2 minute 30 second intro, is all!
I'm so ready for the white cryptic set. The hoodie and the joggers were some of my favorite clothes over the last year.
Props to Hansi for great imagery of the correct way to welcome the Norse dark season in addition to Martina excelling at "dass" reviewing (yes we use the correct term among friends) while painting us all into the spooky season
This take me back to the first video I saw of your that made me want to watch you. When you spent a week alone in the woods painting. Loved you ever since, and really enjoy your drive and inspiration.
I gonna try that Challenge, but staying in a single one and just staying like a type of Mystical legend than only farm, live outside the social locations, only playing games and drawing.
So amazing! You make me want to go to Norway. But I don't like being cold...decisions, decisions! Love the painting, as always! Idea for future challenge - an unplanned painting where you go to various locations and pull 1 item from each location to put in the painting. You could either try to make them all work together or just a collage. :)
your videos are always the best and make my day
doggo going up ahead because he loves Martina so much, he goes ahead and make sure its safe to go to the cabins and even around the cabins.
2:31 YEEEEEEES! I already got worried😱😅
Gives me a kick watching your offgrid painting videos, I live offgrid in a cabin in the mountains, we (my family and I) run our own power with solar panels and a generator. We used to not have wifi but we do now after saving up a bit and slowly upgrading our set up. The nearest town for groceries is a hour drive away. It's just kinda funny watching a city girl live the offgrid life when it's just everyday life for us. Also as always your skills are amazing keep up the beautiful work! Your a huge inspiration for me ❤
I love Norway 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Hattivatti mug! I have that, and a Mörkö (Groke). 5/5. Also Arabia mugs are _the_ best coffee mugs; ideal volume and ceramic thickness.
0:01 Umm... these are not the first words I was expecting.
0:10 I start worrying.
2:32 Ouff... that's better.
I also really liked the video but what I would've loved to see even more is smaller paintings inspired by the cabins themselves.
Especially with that amazing nature around it
Martina and Hansi never disappoints! Honestly guys I remember the days where you used to call us "nerds" LOL and throughout the years your content just got better.
Love to see the different vibes of RUclips coming together!! The Ryan Trahan combinging with art RUclips is AMAZING
No skjera bagera at the beginning!
I've stayed in a treehouse before too - it was great but our visit lined up with a storm coming through. Pretty scary being up there hearing everything creak as you're swaying in the wind.
So, beautiful place...just not the most restful sleep.
This was cool. Would love to see you try painting one giant painting combining multiple canvases together.
I'm traveling to Norway this summer and seeing this makes me all the more excited great vid by the way
22:31 nature was really showing off with that time lapse at cabin#5.
Right!! Main character energy
Phenomenal work as always. I haven’t painted pretty much all summer. I think it’s time I pick up my brush again. Thank you for the inspiration. I can’t wait to hear more about your secret project
Absolutely loved the idea of going to remote cabins and painting! Definitely would love to try doing this too!
You could one up her, by going to remote cabins and actually paint the cabins 😁
The first and last were my favorites! Also that painting rocks!
This painting makes me think of Seljord in Norway, because there was supposed to be a snake-like monster in the lake... Didn't see it, but did see a mother moose with a baby moose. So still very nice.
I am always blown away by how talented you are across so many disciplines. Thanks for sharing these amazing experiences.
These cabins are so cool!
Also you outdone yourself with this painting.
1:58 the shadow on the cabin scared me so bad loll 😭
Love this. These cabins are all so cool. I really need to book a vacation in Norway. The landscape looks incredible
Every time I see your paintings, I wish so badly I had the patience to learn to paint too. I love your work.
And I love the work of Hansi and you on this channel. Thank you Hansi for those impressive landscapes you captured.
You two keep on going ❤
the anxiety of watching doggo so close to the unprotected bottom of the railing on the balcony ! my heart. but looks so nice
I love these cabin videos. I found your account through the painting videos so I love a good long painting video with a little of your hyper flare lol
Incredible work! Also I love the Bobby Duke travel montage.
When I was a kid some of my family members only had outhouses. No I am not super old either, just grew up in the country lol. I wish we had stryrofoam seats in the winter though. Wood ones is WAY too cold in the winter.
The funniest thing I find about this video is it snowed. I live in Canada and it hasn't snowed yet in most provinces even though when people think of Canada they think of poutine, maple syrup, and cold weather with snow almost all year. But that's not been the case recently it snows primarily in January however the weather is still freezing starting October 1st.
That building 25:37, I would remodel it to a more tree house feature & paint it with wilderness, also love the painting.
Love these types of videos where you put what is in your imagination onto canvas. Seeing the process as you change and develop your painting as you go adding and removing bits till you achieve the final piece which was awesome. I liked cabin number 2 as well but to be fair they all had their own charm
That painting is amazing! It looks like you had a ton of fun and those cabins and their surroundings looked amazing!
Watching you paint beautiful detail and then paint over it and repaint it does my head in.
That 3rd cabin, I would just live there. Great painting!
Nice motion on the painting.- Really love this one
By far, last cabin, last painting were my favorites, although you said too many other cabins would drop me a point.
Hey Martina, I am always so impressed with these massive art projects you come up with. I was a little disappointed at first that you weren’t incorporating aspects from each location into the painting, but then you explained that this is part of a larger project, so I get it. Personally locations 4 and 5 felt the most inspirational (for me) I would die to spend a week in a treehouse overlooking a lake and drawing.
When i was working in norway i was in charge of some of them and it was really nice to stay on them some nights. They tend to be cozy and really great isolated.
Martina, you're third painting looks very Skyrim-inspired. LOVE IT!!!
I absolutely love your paintings! When you were blocking out the painting I thought it was going to be Jormungandr and Þor since you have already done a Fenrir and Oðin. You should do a Ragnarok series of paintings, I’m sure they would be absolutely amazing.
geez that's gorgeous... both the views, cabins and the painting...
The last cabin OH MY GOD it's GORGEOUS 😭♥️♥️
The Norway Tourism Board or VRBO needs to sponsor you. Every camping video has me looking up flight info.
I loved all Cabins, I think my fav was 3... the painting is awesome... now u just need to change your workshops window to Fall instead of summer...
This has to be my favorite painting you've ever done so far. And I've enjoyed so many of your paintings over the years, so, bravo Martina!
It's easy to forget how beautiful Norway is when you live in it. Thanks for taking us along for the ride! And awesome painting to boot!
It was pretty funny to watch you incorporate colors and vibes from each new location. Lots of warm colors from the first cabin, tons of blues from the second, etc.
This is probably one of my favorite episodes, just so freaking cool. Now, I know where to stay if I ever go to Norway. Amazing video.
Beautiful painting! All those outhouses were royal palaces compared to the one at my grandparents house back in the 1960s. I liked the vibe at cabin 2 the best, also.
Nori enjoying the snow made me happy... he so adorable.
And your art and energetic videos are so much fun to watch.
omg your eye for detail is astonishing!!!
It’s amazing how many layers of paint used!
