I can't lie; when I was in college, the style in D.C. was incredible! I'm from Jersey, and when they asked me if I wanted to see some clothes, they took me to Georgetown, and I lost my mind! D.C. was the first place I saw people wearing Foamposites. I don't know what happened over the years, but D.C. had always been known for being clean and stylish. I got stationed in DC in early 90s. I hit the Mall and bought my first pair of Supa Timbs I had never seen. BOSS Jean suits, Nauitica gear. When I left DC everywhere I went my wardrobe stood out. I couldn’t find it anywhere else. Now I did get approached by an OG while shopping. He told me the YNs had an eye on me for having so many bags. After a brief talk he assured me I was good, and I’d be strait. But if I ain’t had the knowledge I did, I surely woulda got robbed.
I just came across this by accident this has to be one of the best conversations I have heard about Wayne Perry and how they were moving in DC especially in SW.

@CityLife202 it was never about loyalty but a business arrangement from WP protecting snitching ass AlPo. Alpo was supplying the merchandise and WP was the enforcer.
